How drunk is too drunk to play EVE?

Well mastering which monitor to look at is not too hard ...of one monitor. Blackouts from warp tunnels I can usually shake out of given time. But so far my tolerance ends, that I've found, when I spin the ship in the hanger round and round really fast, wake up on the floor the next morning or so with a keyboard print across my forehead.

Are there any tricks to increase tolerance that may work? How do you overcome them yourself? And is waking up on the floor the limit, or should I expect worse as I increase tolerance? thx in advance

I'm in it for the money

If you're really drunk and you can still spin your ship around enough times to see the counter turn blue without passing out, you can hold your liquor (bonus points if you can actually read the number too).

Pad your face with meat, the next time you black out you won't end up with keyboard marks on your face and you'll have tenderized steak ready to cook and eat.

Just make sure their aren't any hungry rottweillers in the house before you do.

In this situation you'll probably find family/friends/housemates applying the meat to your face.

The solution to your problems is to set up one monitor under the desk mirroring the one on top of it.

Same as for everything else: as long as you can lie on the floor without hanging on to it for fear of falling off, you'll be fine.

Eve is the problem, chemical enhancement is the cure.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

When waking up on the floor (keyboard prints or not) and you are able to enter your chair (bonuspoints if it´s on wheels) again, you are clearly NOT too drunk.

You possibly drank too much and played eve if when you login next you do so with one eye closed, as you do the risky "am i still alive and where am i if i am" login thing.

One eye closed makes the news half as bad, obviously. Also if this makes sense you are likely hungover and so probably did something very bad.

If you're asking these sorts of questions you aren't drunk enough.

When you go on a late night roam deep into enemy territory during their offpeak time looking for stray ratters - accompanied by some mates & a bottle of jack...

The next morning:

You wake up on the sofe, no idea how you got there.

Your wife looks madly at you as she leaves for work.

You phone in sick.

You go into your computer room to find the bottle of Jack, empty.

You switch your computer on.

You get the message 'computer not shut down properly'.

You wait out scan disc, log into windows.

You open EVE to find the client corrupted, run repair tool.

You finally long into EVE to find your character is floating in space 25 hostile jumps from your home system...and it's now thier primetime.

You log out and go back to bed realising that you decided to end your play time by drunkenly switching the PC off at the wall...

Shocked
