Hello there, recruiters

I only joined EVE some 4 weeks ago and I love it. Ive tried a lot of stuff in those few weeks and found out I probably wont accomplish much by myself. I joined a small high security space alliance, but havent stumbled over a single fleet operation yet and the chat is quite empty aswell, so I figured it wasnt a good choice.

What Id like to be a part of:
- a group where I can be useful despite my terrible lack of EVE knowledge and lack of skill points (1,5M at the moment)
- a group in which I can contribute to making imporant things influencing the New Eden happen
- a group of mature people where I wont feel like a daddy already

Things you should know about me as a player:
- I play in EU TZ (czech republic here!)
- Im not a native english speaker, but can write and understand english decently (still a bit shy when speaking)
- Im a solo enterpreneur IRL so my "work times" and game times vary a lot
- I have some 10 years of MMO experience (mainly good old UO and some WoW *blush*)
- I enjoy to do all kind of stuff in MMOs but Ive always been mainly a PvP person (PK in UO, arena player in WoW)
- Im not risk averse and I am ready to move to low or no security space or turn red if thats needed
- Im 28 and have a lot of real life stuff going on = Im not the "online all day every day" type of guy
- I know how to google information and I am trying to actively learn about how EVE works
- I can use any voice comms out there actively, but plenty of times I will be passive (either talking to my fiance, listening to music ...)

Things you should know about my pilots:
- Eron has a little over 1,5M SP, so far I have trained for gallente ships and fittings - I can fly tier 1 gallente frigates, destroyers and cruisers.
- I also have a slightly younger 1,3M SP mining and industrial alt on a second account - because Id like to discover the industrial bit of EVE too
- My skills: http://eveboard.com/pilot/Eron_Relentless / 1234

I know that right now I probably wont be of much use, but I consider myself a loyal person and a clever guy, so your trust is sure to pay off some time in the future :-)

I thought I would try doing some exploration in low security system today - I scouted it in a frigate, made a safety bookmark, went home for my vexor and got beat and podded on my way back to low-sec.

Lesson learned: checking number of ships killed in the system and taking a peek at the gate doesnt mean there wont be a pirate camp 10 minutes later :-)

Hi Eron,

The Cerulean Eagles have a very diverse background. We've got 20-year olds, 30-year olds, 60-year olds, Americans, Danes, Swedes, Australians, Russians, and soon, hopefully, a Scotsman. We've got students, engineers, retail managers, military service members, retirees, graduate students, and an expert in the field of International Short-Range Vertical Transport (elevatorsLol). With such an eclectic mix of personalities, all of whom have different RL demands, we do our best to accommodate to the needs of our membership.

We are primarily US/EU TZ, but have representatives in Australia as well. In addition, we are members of Li3 Federation, who have worldwide coverage and are very active, so you will always have someone with whom to fly. We are well-integrated with Li3, and our alliance leader has made a point of ensuring that Li3 Federation feels like an extension of our respective corporations rather than a separate entity.

If you'd like to find out more about our corp, check out our recruitment ad: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=144215&find=unread

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you feel that we are a good fit for you, go ahead and apply! Big smile

Today I figured how to create APIs and made one for you HR people out there to check my skills and training. Even if you decide not to take me in, any advice on my training progress would be appreciated anyway :-)

Hey Eron, i only started playing eve recently myself.

Similiar sort of position as you, much mmo experience, pvp focused.

I joined Cadre Assault Force.

Sounds like the type of corp you would be looking for.

Small gang based pvp. Mainly Eu TZ.
People willing to answer questions and give advice.

We are currently based in minmatar FW which is a pretty good place to start pvp imo.

Anyway, link is in my signature if you wanna check us out.

Alternatively, mail me and i'll try get into contact with you ingame.

Or join "Cadre Chat Channel" and some members there will talk to you.

Good luck finding corp regardless.

Hey Papa,

thanks for the offer, Im sure you guys are a cool bunch of pilots. What I had in mind though was some kind of an alliance - a group that has to be reckoned with in EVE online, a group where I could start as a puzzled peon and work myself up over the time.

Also a group full of people that I could team up with any time any day, simply because as a solo enterpreneur I work funny times and may log at 10am EVE time as well as 10pm EVE time :-)
