Were you around for CSM 6? Like, were you paying attention at the time? CSM 5 had mass resignations at the end of the term because CCP had ceased listening to anyone, plus they had seen the project plans for incarna and on. CSM 6 opened with CCP continuing its refusal to talk with the CSM about meaningful spaceship-related topics which led to the creation of the skype channel so the CSM could directly liase with developers. Shortly after there was the incarna launch, the NEX store/monoclegate and the 'fearless' leak. Ergo: Jita riots.

This led to the CSM 6 chairman being flown to Iceland for an emergency summit with CCP. The result of which was a well-documented video and apology on CCP's part and a promise to focus on purely spaceships for the next content releases. From that you got Crucible and Inferno. The V3 project came about as art team assets were diverted from incarna features to spaceship features, and while those are just releasing now you could attribute them to the change in direction spearhead by CSM 6. Same with Faction Warfare revamp, which was already announced and basically completed when CSM 7 took office.

The issue of ABCs in wormholes was that they were spawning in C2/C3 wormholes that were easily accessible from highsec. Mining in general was suffering between the availability of highend minerals from WHs less than 4 jumps out of Jita and the drone poo. It was a change that needed to happen on a fundamental economic level.

The NPE changes were instrumental in new subscriber retention, which mittens championed during CSM 6 and CCP are still making changes to improve it. These were fundamentally sound ideas.

Thus far the ideas I've seen from CSM 7 have been "17 titans, NBD. EVE players are rich, nerf incomes. The CSM needs to redefine what 'stakeholder' means."

^ Yeah but you mentioned hi-sec in your first post.

Also it sounds more like the CSM 5-6 were quiet for most of the time really.

So what is your great idea? Welfare epics and isk, the way WoW has? For the poor non titan owners (who mostly proclaim their love for small gang pvp so no idea why they care that it takes 17 titans to blow up other titans) Of course, them being reminded they are poor, makes it hard for them to do small gang pvp, since EVE is quite expensive. I would tell them to get a real job (so they can buy PLEX) (But that requires an education) (which I doubt they would want) so who knows what will help them out.

You must not read very well if that is all you got out of the CSM minutes.

As to CSM 6 not to belittle the Chairman but he made good PR fodder. The real reason CCP back peddled so much was all the people unsubbing. As was detailed in greed is good, its not what we say but what we do that they were listening too.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Please address player consern about.

Story content in Eve.

Loss of the economic Information ie Devblogs or quarterly reports. Last update was FF.

Ship rebalancing has got a lot of Dev focus on the forums. Which is good. As CCP indicated when we will start seeing more of the winter release devblogs.

Winter release planning and CSM participation was hinted at in the minutes. How did that go?

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Threee days after posting the thread and there are more posts in 2 thread pages by CSM people than 'likes' on CSM members' posts. How about instead of lounging around on everadio where they toss out softball questions and cradle your nuts you guys get around to realizing why the playerbase thinks you're a bunch of cretinous hacks and address actual things in EVE.

Just an fyi. I will be the host tomorrow and i dont intend to cradle anyones balls and i also dont ask any questions im just a vessle for the csm to spew forth from

I suspect you may want to go back and see how given your statement on what you intend to do with the show my accusations might ring truer.

Its the same as the last time We at ER did this. The CSM want to get the chat out to as many people as possible, CCP don't have faith in eve-voice to hold as many people as we can (70,000) at last check so we just allow them on to do the chat with questions from members of the general Eve Online population who respond. Of course there will be people who say "The CSM don't matter" or "Fudge the CSM in a hot sticky mess" but as IMHO the CSM matters to EVERY Eve player, I would say get involved as best you can and ask proper constructive questions and just don't troll.

Enjoy the show from 17:00 GMT, CSM come on at 18:00 and are scheduled till 20:00 and as always they are more than welcome to stick around after to have a off topic chat and chill out and request tunes etc.. the show will finish at 22:00 GMT

Huh? This is some seriously wrong stuff, you might want to talk to Mittens.

The Skype channel was created from day one, not in response to anything. It wasn't just Mittens who was flown out for the emergency summit, it was most of the CSM. ABC's in wormholes were not touched, CCP said it was a problem but then went back and got the actual numbers and it turned out that it was a tiny percentage of the mining.

I have a question about account security. What does the CSM think about the idea of providing an option to provide a keyboard on the login screen so players can use a mouse to enter their passwords instead of having to enter using the keyboard?

The Nosy Gamer - CCP Random: "hehe, falls under the category: nice try, but no. ;)"

this would have been very hard to do ... unless you want to pay to fly everyone together and accommodation etc????

Don't be daft. Easily could have done skype video conferencing and streamed it via Owned TV. Something like this

I just suffered thru listening to the "townhall meeting" CCP PLEASE REALISE the CSM IS FOR NULL/LO SECC, ABOUT NULL/LO AND addresses no non NULL/LO ISSUES: they did not talk jack sh!tze about WH/HI! If CCP does not realise it ( and from the CCP comments I heard ) they are ignoring the elephant in the room and thier heads are in the ground!
CSM elections have to be changed to be more representative of the majority of EVE .. CCP PLEASE realise that HI SEC is not at all represented in the CSM!
