Because Im new, I have yet to involve myself in ganking...so Im missing the point of it. Is it for the miners mods? Just for poos and lols? The minerals which a lot of the gankers couldnt haul themselves?

seems like you mean the last cry, I'm still making craploads more than any ganker while afk or watching movies. Posting in a stealth crybaby thread. Seal-clubbing days are over, deal with it, scrubs. Real pvpers love crimewatch.

Stealth crying? Over what? I've ganked quite a few miners since the patch.

obviously you wouldn't be making this thread if you weren't upset about miners making craploads more isk than you with much less effort or afk. This is just a feeble attempt of another awful player, claiming victory while being simultaneously curbstomped by CCP. The last bastions of the cowardly scrub high-sec pirates in EVE is finally being dealt with. You tears of jealousy and butthurt are very delicious. Guess its time to go back to camping low level quest hubs in WoW. Lol

Dude thank you for this my day at worked has sucked and reading this made me laugh so hard my boss walked over.

your job sucks and you have a boss checking up on you? thanks for making me feel better about my brain. I'm happy that I made your day for you with a few lines of text.Smile

Perhaps one day you'll realise that gankers arn't killing miners for profit, and that puts a hole in everything you said. I'm content breaking even, though i've done a little better than that.

Ice products and minerals are not something used for ISK anyway, when you're playing the game right. The fuel gets immediately dumped into capitals and POSes, and the minerals are temporarily assembled into ships to throw into that huge meat grinder over there---->

Prices this low after 1 week. Set for 250 per isotope in another week?

ROFL, gankers got the last laugh, any gank on a miner at this price would set them back weeks of income. Miners will soon see that the patch was more of a curse than an improvement.

Curse my behind, I'm making a frickin fortune from selling Mack's after the changes. You can think you won all you want but I'm playing eve for free for almost the next year from all the profit I made from selling minerals and ships in the last few weeks.

When price is high and going down you sell your entire stock (sold it all at ~900isk/isotope)
While the price is low, i just stock it up, until price goes up, then i start buying while it's still low.

For most miners, mining isn't their only source of income.

I know for me it is a backup income at most. When prices bust, I simply stop wasting my time and do something else.

You guys must be playing a different game than I am. I have yet to see cheaper ships.
I am in fact selling ships at a higher margin now than I was pre patch.

This hurt me a good bit.

I'm not a miner... though I had invested in large stocks of ice during hulkageddon... and I didn't manage to sell it off fast enough.

Prices drop and fall, and we can only guess as to its cause.

Me, I just enjoy reading the forums and waiting until I run out of skills to train (or CCP finds a way to reinvigorate war decs and station games).

Funny how gankers don't know what cheaper prices mean. Big smile

Cheaper ice -> cheaper fuel for nullbears
Cheaper ore -> cheaper ships -> you can start ganking with battlecruisers again and you can make profit out of it

I think Eve players are often so ... focused on "being" something in this game that they forget that what Eve is really about is opertunity.

Nothing makes any difference to me at all. When prices are high, its good for me, when prices are low, its good for me. When there is no hulkegedon, its good for me. When there is a hulkegedon its good for me. When their is no price mainpulation its good for me. When there is price manipulation, its good for me.

You can't beat guys like me because everytime anything changes, I quickly adapt and find a way to make ISK on it.

So ... yeah.. whatever... every change in anything just creates new opertunities. You just have to find them and no... I won't tell you how.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

Ridiculous. Basically your saying that gankers won because prices have dropped back to pre-suicidegankathonheaven times.
More miners, cheaper topes, cheaper sjips, cheaper Eve-Online play, so pretty much no, you are just stupid.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

I hear that miners say the same sort of things about minerals. Mine them yourself they said, they said that mined minerals are free!
