Changes needed for corporate trading

Can we get some more functionality for this?

Maybe a new role that allows the modification of all corporate orders no matter who created them?

Or if not that at least the ability for CEO or director to cancel an order.

My reasoning for this is I have a multi-regional conglomerate of traders and sometimes I see prices shift significantly overnight and the lister won't be online for some time. I'd like to correct the order or at least cancel it to insure that unnecessary ISK isn't lost but can't. Sometimes players go on extended leaves for some time without any notice and have corp capital tied up in orders that need to be cleared out for other use.

Also this is a good option to have as trade corps could have people across time zones working on generating income for a single entity as a team which is what EVE is supposed to be all about.

I've run into this difficulty myself.

The whole corporation role system needs a complete overhaul.

Yeah it only seems right. Makes no sense to have a corporate orders tab and the ability to set corporate orders if they can't be modified by the corporation.

Be very careful of ever asking CCP to overhaul something. You will only come to regret the fact you'll be forced to complain when, after the overhaul, they brake something so fundamental you would have thought it unbreakable, thereby allowing people not even in your corp to nick your stuff and leave bookmarks labeled "Thkz!" in all your members inventories.

As was the War system.

As was Sov [and is] way-back-when. [and now]

As was the Warp Effect 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, etc until now.

Only thing needed to avoid stupid stuff like that is when the change occurs, all roles are removed, or there's a period around a month where corporations can opt into the new system, and after that time is up, it gets thrown automatically into the new system and roles are stripped from all except directors and CEOs.

Should prevent any bad stuff happening.

Besides, it really can't be any worse than it is. It's utterly dreadful in its current state.

I'd like to remind you of the various security issues that arose with new forums 1.5.

CCP is ~very~ good at giving people who should have no access natively to things access.

You could argue that HTML and so on is different than ingame, but I'd like to remind you of :CCP: in general.
