what sort of Noob Fail shield fitter pilot working for ccp designed and implemented the asb? As you can clearly see by the flood of every single solo/small gang pvpers using deul asb' it is a completely ridiculous module, which is currently obliterating a long standing subtle and well balanced set of fitting systems.

I seriously cannot see how this has been let in to game. I mean you'd think if this abomination was gonna be let in they would at least bring in some armor equivalent?

What next actual wow characters being superimposed into space with frost bolt ready to 'cast'?

Perhaps ccp needs to follow some of these ingame recruitment processes to reduce complete idiotic noobs getting in and taking over ccp from the inside ... eventually to run off with 5 bil of assets?

This is, of course, the only logical next step.

You mean the buffer or GTFO kind of balance?

Na the odd active (faction/officer or triple rep) tank messes some of those buffer tankers up sometimes unexpectedly.

I see whining, I don't see you offering any ideas in a constructive manner. Maybe in the future they will only allow 1 to be fitted on your ship if it's such an issue. Throwing a fit like a kid who just got his toys taken away isn't going to accomplish anything.

Personally, I find that their massive CPU needs put a hamper on things already. You have to gimp the ship in other ways. That said I could stand to have that CPU/powergrid amount increased to put more pressure on fitting them that way.

The solutions are just as obvious as the problems.

Making up stories about whining and fits is just as unconstructive as the whining and fits you made up.

My perhaps overly flamboyant complaints with embelishments was maybe on the same level as the mentality that introduced the module to the game, except I don't design or implement my complaints in game for the use of 1000's of players.

You still didn't explain why being forced to fit extenders or plates as only viable option is worse than some ships being capable to fit dual ASB, thus limiting their tank by cargo space. And it's not like two tornados can't alpha them right away.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER assume this for anything or you'll always be disappointed that no change ever comes of you yelling about it.

He said rolling on your back was the way to fix it.

I tried, it didn't do anything.

As a module, i think they're pretty fine, the concept of an un-neutable active tank is great for small scale pvp. Fitting oversized modules has been going on for a while (MSE on frigs, XL boosters on cruiser hulls etc), but people are fitting 2 oversized ASBs on things, and that's getting a bit silly.

As much as i love the module, and am having a blast with it, i think fitting reqs need to be tweaked so you can EITHER fit one oversized ASB and have the crazy big tank but unsustained, or 2 "proper" sized ones to have a good tank but more sustainable.

You were saying?

ASB's are overrated and you know it, just wait for them to blow their capacitor boosters and nuke them during the reload period. I should state however that although EVE-Kill doesn't seem to want to show it, the Ingame Killmail (Which i can provide to any interested party) shows that he had two large ASB's fitted in his remaining mid slots, yet he was brought down by a bunch of pubbies in Dessies.
