Am I the only one who thinks it would be interesting for the NPC High Sec empire one in a while attempt a take over of a Null sec area? Posing a real threat to the Alliance or Alliances that inhabit it but also offering a great reward for defending it?

Lets say the Amarr Empire go uppity one day and decided to push down south into -A- or CVA space? Or The Gallente Federation pushed into TEST space?

The rewards could be a payment from an Opposing government, or nice tasty Navy and faction loot. The punishment could be a loss of space with the small area now controlled by the Empire being similar to "Low sec".

You would be able to take back space from said Empire of course.

Post more suggestions and thoughts, would love to see what everyone thinks of this or a similar idea.

That could make sense if EvE wasn't focused on player interaction.

I'm not keen on the idea of more incursions.

By the way, since we're already talking, do you want to buy a rifter? I've got the cheapest rifters in Metropolis. If you can find a cheaper rifter, buy it!

Incursions are similar I admit, but this would be if The Sansha Empire held that space, and allowed those loyal to it to go there ect. Not to mention you wouldn't just get a payout for fighting a enemy behind a acceleration gate but, actively attacking Sov claimers, infrastructure hubs ect.
