Dosen't matter. Any advantage will be gone in a few days of training anyway. That said, I would select a racial frigate and weapon system and stick with it for at least 4 million SPs. That way all your support and gunner/missile skills will be tops before starting the hull/turret crawl.

Just recently joined RvB (Blue team yeaaaa =D) and I just want to say its the most fun ive had in eve in a long time.

Im even going to bring my other characters in.

Why RvB? Theres something for EVERYONE and i really mean that. Noobs up to pros. The main attraction being you can log in and get fights really quickly.

In my day n half that ive been in Blue Rep. ive been in like 5 or 10 t1 fleets (great brawls), we have joined up as purple to fight War targets (in proper ships yes RvB does have them) had a few 1v1`s etc.

Seriously cannot reccomend it enough.

Last but not least thanks to the guys that set this whole thing up.

Folks this corp sounds really incredible. I have a couple of questions however if you don't mind :)

Does this corp ever get involved with other corp/faction wars or just between red vs blue?
Does this corp ever get involved with incursions?

We get wardec'd by other corps all the time. Some very good at PvP, some couldn't PvP themselves in a wet paper wormhole.

There are no "official" RvB Corprate Capsuleer, PvE, activities that I am aware of. Both corporations utilize "information gatherers" in the opposite corp to find non-PvP activity Combat capsuleers on the map and hunt them down with gf, which is a proper RvB attitude. So if you do PvE activities do them in a fleet with PvP ready ships or leave The Forge. RvB is purple outside of The Forge.

RvB dose have some slang that you new members should get to know first:

Force Mated: The act of 1v1 when one side has not agreed to the fight. “I got force mated by a Thrasher on the Jos gate!”

Gang Mated: The act of beginning a forced mating when suddenly blobbed by an enemy fleet. “All you guys ever do is gang mate us in this TZ!”

Coalition Mate: The state of being totally ignorant of other culture’s traditions, rules of play and generally being fail of all sorts. Can also be applied to Capsuleers, alliances and Corporations that are the latest laughing stock of New Eden. "Dude, stop being such a coalition mate and read the forums!"

Gm or good mate: The state of having had a good fight with other totally awesome RvB Combat Capsuleers. Replaces gf in local.
