Faction Battlecruisers,


with the pvp in losec flaring up due to the FW fixes some new Battlecruisers might be helpfull for PvE or PvP Bear


Only implement after the Drake rebalance imho.


Faction BC should be +50% EHP and +1 either low slot or medium slot.

Use a standard tech 1 hull, no new art, but reskin it with V3 for pirate and/or navy skin.

Eve online is :

D) CCP Games Pay to Win at skill leveling, with instant gratification

Honestly, I'd like to see (pirate) faction destroyers and battlecruisers either focus on the electronic warfare aspects of of the pirate corporations/factions that the current ship set do not cover or focus more on different combat aspects of the pirate corporations/factions.

One example of what I wouldn't mind seeing is a Guristas destroyer with a bonus to 5%/level bonus to shield resistances, a 5%/level bonus to drone EW strength and durability or launcher rate of fire, and a role bonus along the lines of 50% boost to ECM strength and optimal range. Combine it with 5 mid slots (equal to the flycatcher) and a 40-50m3 drone bay (25mb bandwidth) and you'll have a nice combination drone/ECM platform for small gangs. It also makes it unique as the only ship in the game that benefits non-"combat" drones in ways other than just more HP.

Another example would be a Guristas ferox with the standard 5%/level shield resistance bonus along with a 5%/level bonus to heavy and heavy assault launcher rate of fire, and a 50% boost to heavy, heavy assault, and light missile velocity for its role bonus. Combine it with removing all the feroxes turret hardpoints, moving a high slot to a low or mid slot, and upping the drone bay to 75m3 and the bandwidth to 50mb.

The current Guristas ships players can fly don't really focus on anything and ignore the ECM-tastic nature of Guristas NPCs. These suggested variants would provide a solid DPS slugger that doesn't rely on drones as well as an ECM platform that toes the line with the current "Guristas = drones" stance in such a way as to augment the ship's role as an EW platform.

Just my $.02 on this dead horse though.

Well, the skins already exist... I mean we see npc tier 1 battlecruisers scattered throughout the game already, it's just there's no playable pirate battlecruiser (though some factions really do deserve to have a new battlecruiser model, I mean... look, the Sansha need more in game models, there's what... four sub cap models that are used to represent everything?)

As an experiment I ran through and made up a couple stats for various ship classes to represent the pirate ships we don't have access to... here's a couple examples from the Battlecruisers I've done. All the stats are based roughly on the difference between normal cruisers and pirate cruisers... each faction has a specific set of bonuses that all ships in that faction seem to share.

I'd personally like to see every single npc design eventually available... the other Sansha frigate (I call it an Incubus) for example looks like it'd be a lot of fun to fly. I'd love to see the Serpentis Solveteur-class Titan make a reappearance... imagine that blueprint's LP requirements! lol.

The idea of high-EHP ECM boats is pretty bad, even the scorpion is pretty difficult to get a particularly good tank on. And with good reason.
