First can we please get it so that when we right click in space the next stargate that is in our destination list is highlighted just as it is in our overview.

Second when we use the directional scan can we please get a graphical representation of the area being scanned on our overview.

New inventory:
- back/forward like a history in browsers or a file manager
- go up one level, aka close current container and show the parent inventory

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

Dear spacefriends

A year or so ago, I started a backlog of little things. At its highest point, it had 300-400 small features; some awesome, some of dubious quality. With two little things releases at the start of the year and more coming this winter, we've churned through the top layer of them. They were prioritized in terms of quality, and we're simply so deep into this list that I'm running into more and more stories that just aren't worth it.

That tells me it's time to throw the list out and start making a new one. That's what this thread is for. Hand me your grips and feature requests and I'll prioritize them on my list.

Go!

oh ... you must have read my mind =)

ideas / suggestions :

being able to :
1 - change colours from avatar background - (from a palette, like you change hair colour)
2 - change colours from avatar clothes - (from a palette, like you change hair colour)

this too options would allow for a greater degree of customisation, and I'm sure the system would be able to handle it, as it exists in other layers of the character creation system already.

3 - being able to increase boobs size a bit more, (I'm tiered of small boobs =)

4 - consider change overheating dynamics. instead of preventing a weapon / module from working, it would suffer a penalty of -50% until fixed in station or with coolant / nano paste ( or nano paste would reduce the overheating instead) - not fixing the module would still get it to cool of, after a considerable time ...

probably will not please everyone, but i think it would be more fun to have a penalisation in performance, than having the module shut down. and i hear a lot of people saying "wish i never had trained it ... i think people should have reasons to be happy with what they train for, not reasons to "prefer never to had trained it"

5 - fix the cargo bay UI plz -
5)a - in the old system, you switched ship, and that cargo bay window would switch according to new boarded ship, it doesn't happen now, so, sometimes people put stuff in the wrong cargo bay and undock, just to realise they let the stuff in the wrong ship and they're current ship is empty.
5)b - in old system, clicking to open a container would prompt a new container opened, currently, it switches what it shows on the same container, it's not that good in certain circumstances

6 - New Notepad organisation.
- a notepad that has a better organisation, "rot like" the current UI and being able to sort alphabetic or note entrance time (like in the eve mail), or subject type would be most welcome

7 - what's up with all the metal scraps ? - it droops too much metal scraps and not enought modules ratio -
it drops too much metal scraps and it's not really fun to spend all day finding metal scraps.
especially in small npc ships drops.
noob players need some modules to fit they're new frigates and metal scraps drops does not help them or the eve community / player base.

8 - Make eve more fun for everyone.
instead of metal scraps all the time, how about making npc looting more fun ?
when blowing up npc ships / structures, could drop more commodity items ... even if not worth, it would be interesting / fun - items related with eve lore.
- now, that would be dropping "commodity items" along with other loot, not instead of other loot, like metal scraps drop now, instead of the loot.

9 - eve client graphics are great and much has been done to keep improving it's performance wile raising the graphics bar ... but what if you would have an actual option to run the game with the actual minimal graphics as possible and it would allow you to run more clients with a good FPS performance ?

10 - Null sec player stations have like 10 booster manufacture slots that aren't even used in lots of cases, wile having only 2-4 slots of Industrial manufacture which doesn't cover null sec average player needing.
- this waste sounds wrong -
way not switch player station manufacture slots and give those 10 booster manufacture slots to general manufacture purpose ?
- it would be most welcome by most players.

11 - balance abaddon cap usage ... it's ridiculous needing a guardian behind, feeding it cap, so it can have it's guns running ... even without having a reper running ...

12 - T2 laser guns have more disadvantages than other T2 guns
- besides T2 guns having extra fitting requirements, T2 lasers use extra cap beyond T1 guns - that cumulation of draw backs seems uneven.

13 - give a small drone bay to all Tier 3 BC's (oracle, naga, tornado (25 m3) and increase the Talos drone bay from 25m3 to 50m3)

14 - capacitor contextual menu - remove 2 unnecessary and bad entry's :
14)a - right click capacitor - remove ship type from overview ... sometimes ther's lag ... whay would you want to remove you're ship from overview, from that menu short-cut ? seems to have more disadvantages than advantages ...

14)b - capacitor -> right click -> pilot -> leave corporation (should be removed from that contextual menu)
- so, hypothetical scenario - you jump to a cyno with you're carrier / JF, what ever ... you want to introduce pos pass, but have a lag and quit corporation, as you have no roles, you leave corp. immediately and pos blows up you're ship ... ridiculous but not impossible ...

Bookmarks in overview! May not be *that* little but would make an enormous difference.

it would be welcome indeed - but would be nice if those bookmarks had a "switch button" to show up or not on the overview.
(you really don't want more stuff in some systems filled with stations)

they should also have a colourable option for those bookmarks in the ovewview.
you could set safe spots as green
warp in points as orange
tactical points as red and so on,

but that would be customisable and so on, and that would be so much welcome.

Saw this glitch happen which made Neka's ponytail go all the way down to her legs and thought that would be cool as an option in game. May not be the best for walking animations but still looks cool when you choose to look at a character's avatar and click on full body. Took some screenshots of different angles along with the short version. But the hair defintily worked well with the outfit.

I love the ability to drag character portraits/names into a label on the contacts list to add that person to my contacts under that label.

Unfortunately, they do not stay that way. After re-logging, all the contacts added in this manner have their labels removed though they do still remain in my contacts.

are these little things re the Unified Inventory?

1) for players who deal in thousands of items in a central location (it's efficient), but now overwhelms the inventory
the option on the out-of-game settings to default to exclude everything, then they can pick a specific filter to manage their stuff.
This would assist Mega Traders who are important for the global economy, and also Corporation Supply Officers.

2) the option to right click on any group/subgroup in the tree/index?(LHS) and select "hide this".
Which then enables "show everything".
I could then rapidly reconfigure my inventory on the fly, with a simple reset to default.

when you check new people joining your corp, sometimes you make mistakes thinking they are newbies, as it says they're here since a few days, while in fact they were here before for months or years, but left for somewhere else or to stop the game a bit.
i think it happened to everyone of us to wonder why X guy was talking like a old member while his show info says he's here since 3 days, and you realize only later while checking his employement history than he was here 8 months last year.

so i would like having the numbers on show info tells us the TOTAL numbers of days/months/years while the guy was on his current corp, NOT the time SINCE LAST TIME.

Wormhome system names are unreadable, which makes talking about them confusing and hard. The fact that we have to learn a new neighbourhood several times a day doesn't help.

Instead of J123949 write them as J123-949

in other words, please consider adding 'deep space core probes' to the game, with the same attributes as the deep space scanner probe, but with no combat aspect to them.

Allow them to fit in a core launcher. this would be awesome in searching/filtering for wormholes in a system quickly using a non-specialized prober ship.

as it is, using my bomber, i have to scan down every signature in the system, as apposed to launching just a single probe launched at 256 AU to scan the whole system, and in reading the signature percentages i can get a good guess as to which signatures are wormholes in the system... all with one probe. thanks for considering this. it would be an incredible time saver!!!!!!!!!!!

You know how when you're ont he market screen, items in places along your route are marked in yellow? I'd love that sort of thing on the assets screen too.

I didn't know this was where it belonged.

Tagging, FC command shortcuts, Fleet command window.

CCP Soundwave

I am not sure if this is the first time you see this or if it has been suggested before. A search of terms didn’t give me any hits but I assume I’m not the first to believe this needed a fix. As an incursion FC I find myself tagging targets for kill orders on a continuous basis. I spend so much time tagging in some sites I am lucky to get of a single volley off before the first few targets are disposed of by an efficient fleet.

The current process of right click Target, find submenu A, expand, find submenu B, expand, find next number, repeat is very cumbersome and slow, resulting in numerous duplicate tags and missed tags.

Ideally a command key, or shortcut, that allows for the consecutive numeric tagging of targets IE; Hold ‘T’ key and click a target it is automatically tagged with 1 next target clicked is tagged with ‘2’ so on and so forth. This would allow for the proper kill order of a wave to be transmitted to the fleet in a few seconds by a competent FC. and a clearing of tags in reverse click ones it gets a number click a second time the number is removed or changed into a letter allowing for on the fly changes of primary target.

I have tried with to set a macro or a hotkey to accomplish this but have had no luck with getting a reliable working product. If there is a procedure in place and I just don’t know could someone please direct me to it if not could a Dev possibly forward this idea to a programmer to see the viability of this.

Would be really nice for the winter expansion bit short notice for programming, but I can dream.

would be awesome if the cycle indication on modules would actually work after jumping and not start/end somewhere in the middle. (you know that white circle that goes around an activated module on the hud)

Knowing when a cycle ends/starts is vital in pvp for a lot of modules, i don't think that can be too hard to fix since module cycle indication works correctly again after you turned them on and off again. please after all these years could you finally fix it?
