PC finally works!

Installed a new video card and I was playing eve fine a few nights ago.... wake up the next morning and the pc would not work (Windows repair, restore, etc all failed) so not only did I purchase a new video card GTX560ds, I had to go out and purchase a new hard drive: WD Caviar Black 1TB ..

So yea I just dropped $350 the last few days on upgrades Sad

THe moral of the story would be fixing PC's suck lol

So your OLD vid card failed around the SAME time your HDD did? lol

Or do you not know what upgrade means.

You haven't mounted a RAM chip wrong and cooked the whole system, i wonder why i trust myself in my computers guts.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Purchased a slight upgrade in the gtx560 vid card but my HD failed the next day (been making weird noises during start up lately so I figured I'd be replacing it soon anywayz).


Damn the Download for the game is taking 4ever /sigh

Then you did not "FIX" the gpu.

Point is fixing does not = upgrading. lawl.

Hope your learned your lesson, wierd HD noises means it's going to die soon and you should offload data ASAP and use something else.

After that here is some other advice, don't build computers using cheap cases, especially ones with sharp edges. Built my last one like that and I cut my thumb installing the GPU, bleeding all over the GPU/Mobo is not good for a computers health. Spent a good amount of time cleaning up blood off it completely just to have the PSU blow out when I tried to power it (everything else worked Shocked). And I don't think they were related as the replacement PSU fixed the problem off memory.

Still surprised I didn't have to get stitches for that cut too. I have a feeling they used chemicals to treat the case in the process and didn't clean it off that good with how it felt afterwards.
