Okay, this is probably an overreaction.
Probably a thread to die a silent death, but I found it imperative to at least protest.

I am referring to this dev blawg posting:

It really sounds like the Vigil would lose its speed bonus - and that is a trade-off I'd personally deeply deny. I understand that Minmatar is not just about Projectile Turrets but for this significant frigate, I strongly demand the speed bonus to stay at it is. There has always been something to complain about the Vigil, but from all frigates, I must say that the Vigil is an awesome and balanced little boat of the bunch.

I see no point in giving it missile bonuses of some sort as it is a support boat with tackle and support capabilities.
It speaks for itself of course regarding missile dmg/range buffs but if we are talking about light missiles, it won't be that much anyways and the missiles already have a nice +10km range.


Or am I seeing things wrong?
What do you think about the Vigil specific intention of CCP?

To add to "Why Vigil should not have missiles bonuses (which is likely to be replacing Velocity bonus)":

Clearly, there is one frigate of the family that is dedicated to missiles and that is the BREACHER. That should be the first frigate to have "Missiles" and its name in the same sentence, not Vigil.
