so there are items in the market like the silver esquire jacket, gray monocles for both eyes, silver field marshall coat and several others that aren't sold in NEX, so don't exist ingame. when, if ever, will these be available in NEX?

Blod-red skies, strange beings, and the number 514, often written in blood.

It's CCP so it's between now and the end of mankind. Their not known for doing things in a timely fashion. I wish this was a smart ass answer but it's sadly true.

Welcome to Eve. Everyone here is an Evil Sick Sadistic Bastard who is out to get you. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either trying to scam you or use you.

They said they had a bunch of fully developed clothing assets that they hadn't implemented yet, left over from when they thought focusing on WiS was a good idea. I assume these are some of those assets. They said they would be slowly adding these into the game over time.

NeX Store is great, but CCP should allow players to redeem loyalty points for these clothing, or make em available as special drops from Epic Arc or "rare" storyline missions. FW Loyalty points addition was a good start, but there is so much CCP can do with them.

Having NeX monopolize the supply of items with so much potential, does not make sense.

They should just give everyone Ishukone dress shirts.

Yes, everyone who purchases 13 X PLEXs. I agree with you on that.

Much EVE Online players do care about their ingame apearance. Even that much, that CCP noted it in a recent DevBlog: http://community.eveonline.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&nbid=72904

At Fanfest we had a large number of people asking us to give them more options for personalizing the look of their avatar.

I gues, you should get accustomed to EVE Online being expanded from time to time.
But please calm down - spaceships are surely not taken from EVE.

The prices are just now starting to settle on the new items in Jita and there are plans to seed some clothing later this year first.

It is still a bit difficult to judge if the new 100-500 AUR are appropriate since there is still a bunch of free Aurum floating about, but looking at the contracts for Aurum tokens has them going for about 100m ISK which is just a tad lower than the PLEX for AUR price.

One of the interesting things is that the Structure Dress and the Sterling Leather Blouse that went for 500 are currently not significantly more expensive on the ISK market than the 300 AUR products.

Also worth noting, most classic NeX items have not significantly been devalued with the release of more items and have drifted to their April/May pre Incarna prices which I suspect would have happened without the new items.

I think this is a weird experiment at the perceived value based off of rarity and arbitrary price versus aesthetic value based off of what individual items are worth if they were not tradable.

My favorite new example is one of the four FW shirts is the Sterling blouse Black/White which is very similar to the current Sterling Blouse White, but without the CCP logos. The new shirt cost 100,000 Loyalty Points and 100m ISK and I personally prefer the CCP edition which can be found for about 15m ISK on trade. Why was this blouse chosen for the Federal FW shop and not the leather one? I do obviously love the Satin dress blouse and wish Green and Orange Satin Sterling ones were available as FW prizes instead,

CCP has hinted that some items (most likely the launch ones first) will go out of production and they never intended to keep the inventory static.

But a synthetic eye would have to be directly hooked up to your optic nerve.

Doesn't have to be hardwired to the nerve, inside the socket is a small plate that relays signals through the eye to the optic nerve on contact.

Trust me, it's great a great trick at the bar to leave your eye swimming in someone else's glass.

Exactly.

I'm starting to grow a bit tired of this whole entitled attitude I've seen in the past few years. First it came with the WiS expansion we were supposed to get. Yeah, maybe CCP went about it incorrectly, but the way some people handled themselves... it was ridiculous.

I've been waiting for that expansion for longer than I can remember.

The same people would probably say I am against what EVE is about. But that would be incorrect. I love space and the vessels used to traverse the dark yonder. I like to see explosions when I can. But for EVE to be THE scifi game, it needs to expand. You can't have just ships forever and ever.

Now, clothing, tattoos and other cosmetic features. You're going to complain about something that does not affect you at all. It doesn't take away from your narrow-view of what EVE Online is and it doesn't make it harder for you to make things go splodey. This isn't something to go occupy wallstreet over. This is about variety and character. You might be fine imagining yourself as a spaceship in a spaceship only game, but there are those with broader minds who also dwell within the same Universe.

And it appears there are a lot of us.
