btw, Torfi is so excited about Incarna/WiS that he was wearing a full length Incarna leather coat at the office today (don't tell him, but it kind of looked like a dress on himLol)

Pics or it didn't happen.

Is this leather coat something that is going to hit to market?

we are stil waiting for pics with Karkur in a latex suit on it

They are coming SuperSeriouslySoon TM (S.S.S TM being a time unit defined as the time it would take any standard hell to freeze and then thaw again).

Anwyay, I wonder how long would it take until someone cosplays in Fanfest... in my very limited knowledge, there wouldn't be nothing impossible to replicate in EVE's dressing, aside of the way the clothes wrap around the bottom of larger breasts.

There was at least one girl at Fanfest this year who was wearing Women's 'Sterling' Dress Blouse and last year some of the Veto people were in costume (or maybe they always dress like that, what do I know). Then there is one guy that was always in costume and carrying duct tape (I don't remember seeing him this year at Fanfest).

The leather coat is a few years old and as far as I know there are no plans for it.
There are a few pretty nice Incarna coats and jackets here at the office, but the catsuit only exists inside our computers Lol

Much appreciated for the response, CCP karkur.

Honestly, the potential of "WiS" is so great that I still think CCP would be well advised to split it off into a whole new game project rather than try and cramp it into the narrow confines of a "new feature" of an existing game predicated on an entirely different engine.

No, leave it integrated with EVE, I don't want to redo my avatars again.

Little off topic. I know there are Accolades or Achievements for visiting locations in Eve.

would be interesting to have one for visiting each of the landmarks in eve, in Person. Collecting a Ticket from deep inside the dungeon

Turn these 250 Items into a Sisters of Eve Agent to get a Faction standing bonus of 1 full points across the board able to collect this rewards once per year.

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

I was/am very disappointed with Incarna. And Inferno. Crucible was pretty good.

Anyways, post-Incarna, my UI started doing weird things like windows moving when I used mouse4/mouse5, and of course Inferno has been slowly ebbing away my will to deal with living in a POS, which is, of course, the only option for wormhole dwellers such as myself.

As for the whole barbie ken doll fiasco. WHERE IS MY ******* GALLENTE INTAKI PONYTAIL YOU ******* DICKWADS?

edit lol it doesn't censor dickwads, ccp forum censor best censor

Not a bad idea except there's actually 753 Landmark beacons within the Eve Universe. Also those 'Dungeons' have a long respawn timer and the location consists of a single pocket, no acceleration gates leading in deeper.

Probably be better if there was an agent in space for The Interbus that gave the reward since The Interbus is positive with all Empire Factions.

Greetings

WiS has a great future if CCP can devote the necessary resources to it. For instance if the Dust developers could be turned toward it, we may see it for what CCP dreamt it could be.

My only request would be to treat stations with the same mechanics as the security status of the systems they reside in.

Highsec = CONCORD controlled security and strictly administrated

Lowsec = Faction Navy controlled security and loosely administrated / more player content

Nullsec = Frat house style security and hookers and booze everywhere, and no you may not look in the closet. Its where I keep the dead hookers

And give the good stuff to 0.0 only again ?
You are already whining about risk and reward ,at least let WIS experience be the same for everybody.

When Dust commanders visit me for Parties on my super cap / Beg for their planets not to be reduced to radioactive dust balls

I expect them to to be properly dressed .....

I expect ship security to be able to shoot them ... but that is further away I expect ?

Oh you didn't know ?

Wis has been pushed to the back of the line in favor of focusing on dust 514 a game in which they can micro-transaction players to death without the uproar that trying to do that in EvE caused. Do not even waste your time/money coming back to EvE. Right now the general consensus around eve is that players are quitting in droves, and the game is finaly dying because CCP is doing the same thing that WoW did to increase player base/profits, with that being Dumbing/Nerfing/Rebalancing the game down until a 3 year old could be good at it. So if your wondering where you precious WIS is just remember there are more important things to be developed right now. Things like the most recent questionare they released where asking about, stuff like clothes and boots to wear on your character that sets there in his captain quarters all day and interacts with nobody because CCP is to busy messing with mechanics of the game that where not broke to begin with.

Like I said don't waste your time/money on CCP anymore. For over 2 years CCP had done a great job with patches and expansions but since about 6 months ago when the Jita protests took place CCP has started the process of self destructing the game in a failing attempt to get that 5-10% increase their superiors drive them so hard to get every year or so. There are plenty of games that are not heavy handed like CCP is with their game mechanic changes.

EvE's been around for 9 years.

There's no evidence that people are quitting in Droves (last numbers put EvE up at 360k Subs to December's 350k).

EvE's currently the 3rd largest paid western MMO by sub count. I think they're doing OK.

The fact that CCP straight out said not to expect meaningful new spaceship content for 18months is the reason one of the chants of the summer was "18months"

If CCP had not fumbled the Nex store, that would have been good, certainly. If Greed is Good hadn't leaked, that would also have been good.

But the primary issue was the fact that WIS had taken significant resources away from EvE's core gameplay while EvE has enormous problems that need addressing in its core gameplay. The impression that WIS was really just an Alpha test for Vampire Barbies/a MT cash grab was just Whipped Poop on the Cow Pie.

The other half was CCP rehashing several core libraries of EVE's aging code, an effort which drained the resources available to do "ingame" stuff.

true but i think the major event leading to the outcry was the leakage of the slides. that was the straw that broke the iterons back

i can understand the rage back then ,even i was mad about the nexfail
