Salvaging, just my thing, but what do I need?

I like Salvaging. Scanning missions as well as cleaning up behind my Corp Mates. Using a fast frig as well as a noctis. Now I am thinking how I can maximize my Skills for this task?

Salvaging (of course)
ORE Industrial (The Noctis)
Scanning Skills (For Missions and Magnetometric Sites)
Industrial Skills (Building Rigs)

And then... well no idea. Still looking for an suitable ship.

Any ideas?

If you're really serious about this long term, well....

Mag sites of course need to be scanned down, as do wrecks. The best ships to do this in are Covert Ops or T3s with an Emergent Locus Analyzer. Rigging them properly will only require Jury Rigging 1, but don't skip that. Mag sites sometimes require an Analyzer as well, so Archaeology is required. You'll want Cloaking 4 for a covops cloak. The best ships to do this in lower security are the aforementioned T3 or a Pilgrim, so there are tons of skills associated there.

If you decide you actually want to do something with all that salvage you're going to have to start to invest in industry and likely invention skills.

So yeah, there are lots of ways to go.

I wouldnt do hi sec mag sites really, if want isk go to minmitar space and salvaga their wrecks, dont need to kill anyone yourself, so look for rats with best salvage and head to their space for maximum isk. Sadly cant speak well of mag sites, done some, but usually worthless t2 salavge I got and worthless t1 salvage, angel space make a lot.

I think we do not have to dicuss the wortlessness of Hi-Sec Mag Sites, scanning a mission brings 20 times the wrecks with similar quality. I have no experience with 0.0 or low-sec mag sites, but will see in near future. Thx for the hints so far, I hope for more.
