I found solution that work for mi fps problem. Put mi video card settings to manual(not aplication controled) and disable all AA options, i have 8600gts. Half day i have no problems with TWO clients.

I'll have to try this the next time my client(s) locks up again. Excellent find and wish I'd thought of this before.

I have the same problem when 'loot all' button is pressed, freezes up for a second or two. I can hear my graphics cards fans speed up as it loads the GPU, very annoying. i have a GTX570 that should run eve seemlessly but since Inferno it doesn't.

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I am no longer able to copy bookmarks by dragging them from places folder to cargo hold. Is this a change i didn't read about?

Since inferno 1.1 Exefile.exe keeps becoming unresponsive with session changes (gates, docking/undocking) forcing the process to be killed and restarted.
Single client, win 7 64-bit, core i5-2500k, gti560ti.

It's kind of annoying not knowing if this undock will leave your ship afk while you kill the process, restart the game and relog.

Also the inventory is just annoying. I absolutely in no universe ever want a can or wreck to open up in the window I had my cargohold in.

Just summing it: so far "ridiculous fps drop" (normally I have 60 fps on 11 clients, it drops to 5-10, even to 2-3 sometime, and no matter how many clients are loaded, it can drop even when I have just 2 windows) has happened to me after
1) undock
2) loading another client
3) grid reloading due TCU destroying
4) star system change via jumpgate and jumpbridge
5) bringing up a starmap (F10)

Freshly installed Win7 ult x64, SSD, 12G RAM, ATI5770, Phenom II 720, no overclocking.
All clients are started from junction folders.

Sometime "reset monitor" (Ctrl-Alt-Enter) helps, sometime it getting worse.
What definitely helps is unloading clients one by one. Note that I cannot tell which window (or windows) is the cause of the problem, because all my system is lagging.

Did you try to put your video card setings to manual and disable all AA options?

Checking in with similar ridiculous frame drops. I can generally run 2-3 clients with very little graphics stutter or FPS drop. Since the most recent patch, I am averaging 7-10 FPS inside POS shields with a max of 20-24 FPS outside the shields. No graphics changes on my part.

I hope that this is addressed quickly. Rather frustrating to "stutter" through routine EVE activities.

I'm right behind you

Do you really think I have 60 fps on 11 windows with AA on? I have my settings at strict minimal, with everything off.

FPS Drop Potential Solution.

As previously suggested in this thread I have removed the application control for AA directly in the NVidia control panel i.e. set to always off. This seems to have improved the situation significantly. In EVE itself I have never ticked AA on at all - due to my system resources. Perhaps the latest patch put AA on regardless of the graphics setting in EVE itself? - just a guess that could be wide of the mark, but it seems to have helped me.

Asked on the first page and seen others ask, but can someone at CCP confirm the new "feature" whereby ships have to "re-align" their "magnetic fields" prior to launching drones after warping to a location? This wasn't listed anywhere in patch notes and I know it didn't happen prior to 1,1. Also, what is the rationale here?

Manually setting my video card's 3D settings helped me with this issue as well. In fact, it even improved the graphics settings I can use in-game [all 7 clients running Texture and Shader at medium, LOD at low, anything else is disabled] and the fps issue has disappeared.

I experienced repeatedly a erroneous overview when 2 friendly fleets are bridged in a the sam spot. They showing each other as neutrals, because the information about corp and alliance is missing. This bug is relative old and was already posted.

When the server has heavy load sometimes the grid isn't loading after a jump/session change. I reported the bug too, but nothing happens.

Today's patch (Inferno 1.1.6) clobbered a few minor settings:
Sound controls (the 5 sliders) were all reset to defaults.
Present Interval was set to One instead of Default where I had it.
Had to re-accept EULA and my previous login data was wiped.

The 4 July patch causes a critical error for me. I was playing the game all day yesterday up to downtime and the new patch may have caused some issues for me.

Started trying to play it after downtime and the game ran for about 5 minutes then froze the whole computer and was in the middle of warping.

Restarted the computer launched it again and the game ran for about 3 minutes (long enough for me to dock again), then froze up.

Restarted the computer and launched EVE again, this time made it to character overview before entering the game and then it froze up again.

I have been playing for almost 1.5months on my current build and never had any issues until yesterday.

Today's (July 5) 1.1.7 update has broken the "Clear History" option in search boxes.

This worked just fine yesterday.

Nevermind, it is working normally again. Probably a result of nuking cache folder manually (as I do after all patches).

Not sure with which of the recent, daily patches this changed, but my station containers defaulted to a "locked" status for all items added by me after DT and today's patch.

Bug #140392

Note: I was able to unlock the items that were locked and also change the container configuration setting to "unlocked" for all items added by me.

After launching my scan probes I can't get them to move. Makes exploration impossible. Is anything being done about this or am I the only one having this problem.
I was able to use them normally last night but now I can't again.
