An extremely frustrating thing I've dealt with lately: I want the ability to drag character names from contacts, links, and chat into the locate character dialog.

Also, that dialog is annoying in that it completely hijacks the interface.

to add to that, i would like to be able to do show info and then drag the pilots name or corp etc from the show info to chat, rather than having to dig through hundreds of names in local

When I go to probe down a system, the first step (for me) is to arrange my probes into a "diamond" shape. Every time. It would be nice to be able to save a geometric shape in the probing interface (relative to the center drone) and click a single button to load that.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before,
but being able to group more than one type of drone into a drone group would be awesome.

Also if i remember correctly there was a Dev blog about your market orders being highlighted in the market window, and I've not heard or seen anything more about it, as this would help me and many others out a lot.

In large fleets, every time a member joins or moves, it resets the window position, which makes it damn near impossible to move yourself if your name isn't immediately visible in the window. And because it's in a large fleet, it probably isn't.

A solution to this would be locking the fleet window like it is for chat windows, based on the percent distance from the top or bottom.

Not being able to fit a module doesn't stop then entire "fit" button from working.

Being linked a fitting and then finding you can't use that nice easy button because you can't use the large T2 Smartbomb is kind of annoying. Any way to change it so it just ignores that module and gives you a message saying "this was not fit because you don't have the required skills"

The ability to save an entire character or accounts settings onto the computer in a file type system. Overview, esc menu settings and keystroke shortcuts, window position, UI scaling, everything. Basically make it easy to move characters between computers or for reinstalls of clients. Itd benefit all the multi computer/multi client users the most like myself. Right now every brand new reinstall of the client means I have to redo ALL my settings, overview I can at least import but tabs and such still have to be redone as well as all the shortcuts and such I have. And its a PITA atm.

Basically the same thing as is being done with the overview, just with the character or account itself. Perhaps an API addition? Please make it happen.

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

How about a more complete set of saveable overview settings. I'd love to be able to export everything and load it to another char or computer. That would be really nice. Right down to the sorting order of color tags and arrangement of columns. What we have now is a good start but a lot of settings either aren't exported, or just aren't imported.

We can hold down our shift key to copy bookmarks from People and Places, rather than moving them. How about letting us do the same thing to import bm's to our People and Places? Then we could copy a set into our folders without destroying it. That'd save a lot of time and some server operations that are currently spent making new copies.

How about a right click menu option to set destination to a fleet member's location?

My Caldari characters can't tuck their shirts in! Kind of trivial I know, but they're paramilitary guys, and they are wearing belts. They should be able to tuck in their shirts to complete the look. NOBODY in the military gets away with an untucked shirt...

There's a menu that appears as a serious of circles around objects in space. Give us an option to disable that. For people who use it, I'm sure it's great. For people with lag it's pure hell and causes all kinds of problems with accidental actions. (I originally started playing Eve on a computer that lagged pretty bad, so am speaking from experience here. Even accidentally locking someone can be a big deal if you fly with the wrong crowd.)

More options to customize the ui by turning different features on and off. Anything and everything. The more the better. Let people set things up in a way they feel comfortable with. Everyone is different.

Shared hangars that aren't corp hangars. It would be a hangar or a container that you've given other people permission to access in station. It'd be great for sharing access to things among alts. It's also be nice for players working together on industrial projects, who are currently faced with the option of using the corp hangar of their current corp, making an alt corp just for the project, or doing lots and lots of trading and contracting among themselves. Combined with the 'launch for self' pos option that must be coming, it'd be a real nice thing.

How about letting us specify a default folder for saving bookmarks, rather than going to the one used last.

Let me use arrow keys to turn my ship, instead of having to double click in space.

Solar System Map - When my mouse passes over a group of celestials, they unstack into a list. Make that require a click, not just a hover. When I click on a celestial, my view moves to center on it. Make that require a double click. Yes, it's more clicking, but it solves the problem of lists popping up as I move my mouse (and sometimes staying up) and getting in the way of what I'm trying to see. It also allows me to still open up a stack of icons and see what celestials are piled up there without recentering my map on them and borking my view.

Change the default order of colortags in the overview settings. Having a low sec status shouldn't make a person appear as red to their alliance in the overview. (Most people will try to insist it's an overview bug, and leave it, instead of making the necessary adjustments.)

The circle menu, or Expanded Action Menu, your talking about can be changed in the Escape menu. General settings, middle column at the bottom. Change it to middle mouse button rather than left mouse button and youll never have that issue again in space. Been there done that.

Apologies if someone has already suggested this;

At the moment, all the turret damage mods look identical; Gyrostabilisers, Magnetic Field Stabilisers and Heat sinks all have identical icons. It's way too easy to accidentally fit the incorrect mod to a ship.

Could they be differentiated, perhaps by colour as the ECM mods are? This seems like it would be prety easy to do.

It would be really nice if armor and shield hardeners could be differentiated in the same way as well.

Ideally using the same racial colour scheme throughout. (Blue = Caldari = Kinetic = BCU; Turquoise = Gallente = Thermal = Mag Field Stab; Rust = Minmatar = Explosive = Gyrostab; Yellow = Amarr = EM = Heat Sink)

EDIT: Leave Invulns/EANMs/ANPs as they are.

My suggestion is:

To have a bit of dev presence in this thread.

Some of these posts contain great ideas, but unfortunately it feels like they have been tied onto helium balloons and released outside with nothing but a short sharp breath to push them in the direction of iceland.

Some indication of whether or not they reach their destination in fine form would be terrific.

the ability to install multiple industry jobs at the same time (with all same settings, stacked). Will help a lot when installing multiple like invention/manufacturing jobs.

I hope over the last 132 pages this has been said hundreds of times. Please put this near the top of the list. T2 invention/manufacture is such a click grind fest. If I am setting up 10 duplicate jobs, please let me highlight 10 factory slots and make them all at once. Setting up 20 research jobs every 1.5 hours is almost like real work at a real job. It really zaps the fun out of what could otherwise be an incredibly fun activity.

P.S. As a high-sec manufacturer, non-sov alliance member, I totally support the push of T2 manufacturing into low/nul, but that is a topic for an entirely different thread. But I make far too much isk with near zero risk.
