EVE General Discussion

Greetings,

I have a new EVE box (G71G-Q1 very nice, and a very nice matching mouse G300 and funny they really match when never the two designers ever met... and EVE is again on full settings and 61FPS or better sometimes in the 90s)...

I have PLEXed up a bit for time, my ships look good...I have my jump clones all in a row, polished my ore cans, numbered my recycle bins, and so on... even cleaned the CG bathroom... *sigh*

My pilot skills are fast approaching all sup-capitals in the game.. I even got my very first KM in the game the other day, and got ganked as well - a moment of joyful fun in a otherwise dull day...but... with my kamikazi jag in bits and two ganker cats in flames... I was stuck by a profound sense of something...


... what should have been for me a gleeful moment of "YES!!!!" and for other maybe a more tearful "My poor jaggie!!!!..whaaa" ...I felt NOTHING...it was a non-event... I even could not enjoy the smack... it degrated to me simply saying to "U Mad Bro..." ... a donation of 1M ISk each two of there smack talking corpies... "Heard you was a poor peasant" (donated ISK)... oh, what ever is wrong... THEN IT HIT...

I AM BORED, AND IN AN NPC CORP...3 years... THIS IS ALL EVE WILL EVER BE UNLESS...I change my ways...

So...what creative things do people do? I need some input!...

Join a silly corp.. rob them blind.. then join some big nullbear alliance?

I've never had a pvp anything.

I NEVER KNEW MY MOTHER, I WOKE UP IN THIS VAT OF FLUID AND WAS RUDELY DUMPED ON METAL FLOORS.

That, right there, is the problem you need to fix.
Simple advice - decide what it is you really want to do in this game and then research the Corps out there who meet, or come close to what you're looking for.

You've said it yourself. You're in NPC corp. That gets you bored sooner or later. Try to find a nice corp that suits your play style and where you can contribute with what you achieved already (skills, ships, ...). Find a corp that has a common goal or develop a goal with them.

Joining a player corp would be a good start.
