Just wanted to congratulate SOMER.Blink on being more addictive than any drug. Twisted

I was impressed at how quick the lotteries are, and how fast my prizes were delivered!

I started with 100m on my first visit, and got back a Republic Fleet Firetail, Daredevil, Sabre, and 38m of Blink achievement credit.

Heck ya I'll be back, to give SOMER.Blink a chance to get even! Big smile

I'm still discovering wonderful things about Blink!

I want to thank you for the Jump Freighter I won for saving bottle caps (or was it tokens?) because any way you look at it - it was free! I like free.

My friends who play Eve have been sending me mixed signals about being involved with a "lottery", as we have seen so many come and go when the their scam folded over the years. I think I have them all convinced now that Blink is on the level. They know about my wierd connection to statistics as I have always been the one who turned raw data into charts and bar graphs for our web pages. One year, all their birthday cards contained bar graphs on the previous year's alcohol/coffee consumption, hours of golf/fishing, number of lies about golf/fishing, and several other categories of things old guys do, or don't do very much any more. The last bar was a double with half being the total number of seconds of romance during the previous year and second half was the total number of hours claimed to have been involved in romantic behavior. The wife filled out those bars. Anyway, most of them are so busy delivering their favorite form of mayhem that they are afraid to step away and try out something they may like better than what they are doing now, but I'm giving them time. They will come around.

My friends are all old Army buddies and we all knew or knew of each other when we sort of fell into playing Rogue Spear when it first came out. Then we moved to Ghost Recon and later it was the Battlefield Series. Along the way, a couple of guys got involved in the beta of some silly space ship game, but we were soldiers with boots on the ground using weps, vehicles, most importantly tactics we could relate to. It paid off as we overwhelmed any bunch of players who just happened to log in about the same time.

We were having one of regular get-togethers at the home of one the guys who had been in the beta of a space ship game, something with a real testerone free name of "Eve" and just released. He played on some humomgus flat screen TV and had us all gather in front ot he the TV - ok, he bribed us with beer - and brought up a shot of a really oddly shaped little silly sci- fi space ship floating out side of this big ugly brown thng he called a station. It had little lights shining like their might be somebody home. The odd shape of the ship. something called an Armageddon, lol - and the shape of the station did not look as though anyone sober had been on the design team. Well our friend and the other guy who had been in the beta were standing near the screen drooling and expecting the rest of us to be drooling as well, but we were more interested in getting the lan party going with a good scrimmage on BF42 on all the computers we had drug from different parts of the US to his Tampa home. it just so happened that our host was also the president of our clan, so we were humoring him to be sure he would not put some syrup of ipecac into the marinade of that night's meal. He looked back and forth at the screen and then at us, kind of like he thought we would all lean forward and say a hushed "wow" but we were more into making fun of the scene. Someone asked if he could zoom on a certain window because he thought he could see a woman taking a shower. Finally, our host said, "Just look at it - see the detail! Isn't that a great shot?" Most of us yawned and said, "me too" to the guy who was going for another beer. We had the BF42 lan party going in a couple of minutes.

None of us would have guessed that within a few months, during the spring of 2004, we would all be playing a silly space ship game. And now, for the most part, with a very few departures (they'll be back) and few additions, we are all still in the game at some level of activity. We divided up into new corps after a while to pursue our different interests, but still consider us all a part of the "greater group" and that our real loyalties belong to the greater group. We have six different corps and we number in the mid 70s, we all have alts (and alts and alts - this character is an alt in a one person corp). Many of our alts are in other corps, both large and medium sized and which have no knowledge of the greater group or the sisterhood of our six main corps. We have been in corps who were at war with each other. In fact, I've had one of my toons kill another one of my other toons while their corps were at war. Well, it was a meeting engagement I could see possibly happening, so my guy who I didn't pod just happened to show up in a frig with cheap weps (don't think there was anything called t2 then). My two guys found each other and as would have been predicted at the time the stronger corp won the engagement, so it was only right that my sacrificed guy had to to be taken out, but there was no sense in his losing a Maller with decent weps, when he could just as easjly go down in punisher with a cheap fit.

I have one friend in a corp which has no jump freighters who has been salivating at the idea of a sporting around New Eden in one, but his corp is not very active compared to the rest of us. I bestowed the Ark on him and he is feeling pretty invincible and will as long as he is in a station and until he can get an armada together to escort him about 40j back to their little part of null which lives in conjunction with our most powerful sisterhood corp with a little sov out there somewhere.

I see so many players have been active on the forums and I got to know many of them so much better by spending a few hours reading my way through a little history of Blink from primarily the player's viewpoint, so I thought I would turn this thanks for the JF into a kind of introduction to me, as if that was really necessary after the way I drone on in the chat.

I wish you all good luck in the game and in life, and I hope you are visited by good sportsmanship!

"Wall of text" - I'll bet you say that to everything which will take you more than an hour to read!!!

You may have noticed that this thread is all about blink and is the thread I believed to be posting to originally instead of posting the the forum sell orders. I took it down moments after placing it on what you seem to think is YOUR forum and move it here, tho the correct thread.

I did not post in the wrong place to advertise Blink as that is against their rules. I did not post the promo code which a new player can use to get a few million when signing up and by using my code - which I again say, as it seems you have difficulty understanding simple things, I did not place in my post.

Just so you don't think I am trying to steal the crown jewels, I will inform you that I am now going to the wrong place I originally posted and remove any reference which may seem like advertising. I merely placee it there as a courtesy without realizing it would be seen by those without much foresight as a dastardly act.

this lotto is now my new addiction.. somer blink > eve online now haha. An amazing lotto, started a few days ago with 3.5B in my pocket, then i find out about this lotto. I think, sure why not my friend says it legit, lets go. I end up putting 500M into the site. BOOM! bet #3 on a rorqual for lol's and won. After spending about a billion, boom another rorq. This now puts me at 8B isk in my pocket. Then i start having some bad luck, I win 2 golem's back to back and decide to turn both into blink credit. This turns out to be a bad idea as i blow all the money on my somer blink account D:. At some point i reach 11B isk in my wallet. I end up constantly placing 300 - 500m more into the lotto. and i start losing big time. i win a few minor ships, but i like betting on the ultra blinks, which get very expensive when losing haha. So now I'm at 3B isk in my eve wallet and 450m isk in somer blink. BOOM win a rorq. now I'm at 6B isk, i start to think, okay I am up, why not quit while I'm head? Well... i see a gigablink for a JF. I look at the past 5 winners and notice all the ticket numbers were either on the right side, or middle row. With me fully addicted i put 2B isk into somer blink, luckily for preauth i was able to get that isk really quick. I end up buying nearly all the tickets on the left side, beides maybe 5 tickets? I've never been more nervous in my life haha. i knew if i lost i had to stop playing this lotto since i was still 1B profit up, why waste it. BOOM won the JF :D. I'm lucky though that it went left like i thought, and none of the other 5 people won. So now I'm at 12B isk in my wallet. not bad considering i started playing 4 days ago. I ♥ somer blink... thanks for an addiction :)

Congratulations to the winners!!! Quite a hefty load of prizes this week!

I hope the stat window comes back in some form soon, even if it is the old one until the new one is ready. I like to compare my findings with the site's because you have all the data and my data is concatenated making it dangerous to rely upon without a validating second system. I have used the time to play more 16 tic games and have moved my Mega-blinks forward.

Please, Blinksters responsible for my happiness at playing here - take my thanks, my heartfelt thanks - both workers, other players and the really nice people on the chat. I avoid the chat when I would like to be there, but I cannot trust my medication schedule to let me be person my dog thinks I am. So to avoid offending a nice person, I have to stay away some times. Please understand that when you see me playing but not chatting, it is not because I am intending to be anti-social, it it because I am trying to prevent it! Plus, I just don't understand how you guys can do both at the same time!!!

We have some lifelong friends departing tomorrow after about a week's stay. He is 84 a WW2 Navy vet (lied about his age and joined at 15) . He retired from the Treasury Department, she, a nurse with an Ed.D retired from the Red Cross. I think we might have a new blink player, but I've got to get him past joing Eve first. I offered him 12 PLEX, but not sure if he really grasped that, but he does like blink - the big question is, can blink take another Stat man? A stat man who worked in one of the enforcement areas of the Treasury department and went to work "strapped" every day for 35 years, but thankfully, never had to draw.

Tonight, I am going to attempt to participate in 152 blinks to reach the 20k achievement. You will see me introduce blinks primarily with firetail, navy comet, hookbill. and slicer initializing with the number I am fond of at that moment. I entered those ships here using the hot keys - anything to be lazy! EDITTED IN: Well the 152 blinks went like blink work, but I discovered that not only do I need remedial third grade math, but I need exactly 2000 more points for the achievement.....

Good luck to you all as we march on the 250T which is just over the horizon. Especially, I wish good luck and get some sleep to the Somer Workforce!
