I'm not sure if I post this topic in the right sub-forum, but I think this one fits it better than others.

I want to hire a web-designer or two to create new eve service.

Requirements are:
ArrowHuge expirience in creating web-sites
ArrowNice portfolio
ArrowBeing common with databases and EVE-API

I'm paying with ISK and if the project will be working good - you will be getting % of it's profit for the development of new features and for support of the site.

I offer:
ArrowDecent salary in ISK (you won't be bothered where to get money for PLEX or shiny new t3)
ArrowChance to get nice passive income in future
ArrowI think it will be interesting for you to work with this project.

How to contact me:
ArrowSkype: goncharov_leo
ArrowEVE: Liza Hawkeye

P.S. If I posted this in the wrong sub-forum, please move this topic to the proper one. Thanks!

People with lives or have to be paid in real currency need not apply.

Guys, I'm sure that I'd easily find a man to work for real currency. But eve is the game and everything that is in contact with the game must be coped with by game resources in my opinion. And by the way - you still get some real life profit from me if you apply. Because you save 15$ if you're paying for an account with plex or same ** hours of time if you buy ship or smth for the isk I paid to you instead of carebearing or anything else.

Anyway I'm waiting for replys guys :)

I can do text pages in notepad if that helps. I can make text scroll sideways across the page with one command, minimising usage of code and therefore file sizes. This also creates concise code which is easier to understand and debug. :yolo:

How much Isk are you talking about?

Programming salaries are somewhere in the $40-60/hr range, so you offering 3-4 Plex per hour?

I feel what you are really looking for here is a quote.

Given that this is eve expect the following:

You find someone who is qualified and "interested"... you give them the idea for the site and they dutifully build it (ironing out all the problems with your idea on their own), register the URL, and host it. Then they collect your ISK and then proceed to cut you completely out of the site, keeping any and all isk revenue for themselves. Then the web designer sends you a screenshot of his new titan w/ a thank you letter for the offering of your "idea".

As a web designer myself, this sounds like a bad "start up" idea. All web designers get this type of client all the time. It's somebody that has an idea for "the next e-bay" or "the next google" but has no money to put up front, no skills to make it happen, no business plan, (usually no job) and is only willing to offer you 10% of future revenue for some period of time. These guys come with an NDA in hand and are promptly shown the door by the experienced.

Good luck.

I'm guessing if OP is talking about not being worried about affording a T3 we're probably not even breaking the millions range.

Do you smell what the Lock's cooking?

I have huge expirirence in creating web-sites and am also common with databases and EVE-API. How much ISK/hour are we talking? Is it better than 300mil/hr? I'll accept no less.

At a minimum OP should expect to buy a T2-fit T3 per hour. Especially for someone to "create a new service".

I think the OP needs to give a price range rather than simply suggest we would be "paid in isk". I know what it *should* pay, I'm curious how far off the real offer is.

to the op: www.joomla.org

you'd be surprised how many people know nothing about web designing and have full sites up thanks to joomla.

I, too, may be interested, but without more details and a possible price range cannot say more.

This. OP might as well just code it himself because very little people will actually apply for this project considering most of us have well-paying jobs somewhere that we can work at to make more ISK via PLEX instead of taking on this project.

OP you may be able to get something out of Chribba. As I understand it, he has a lot of time to himself and he's used that free time to develop many EVE-related websites such as eve-agents, eve-board, eve-search, etc. He may be interested in this project, maybe even passionately interested - which is exactly what you need for this kind of project.

Doing a google search with his skype name, it's apparent to me that he's not so legit.

Good afternoon. Requires an investment of $ 30,000,000 rubles for a term of 3 years. The project currently has no analogues of successful, but has huge potential demand. Perhaps the early repayment of the loan without any loss of interest for the investor. Investor's share - 30% of the profits until the debt repayment and 10% of profits within 2 years after payment of debt. If 30% of the profits do not repay the loan within 3 years - the debt will be repaid through an additional share of profits and / or liquidated assets of the company. The loan is provided by the company's assets acquired for this loan, as well as the intellectual property of the company. If you are interested in this offer - please contact me in any way convenient for you. My e-mail: goncharov.leo @ gmail.com My skype: goncharov_leo

30 million rubles is 913K dollars. Honestly I find that post extremely fishy so I wouldn't be surprised if anyone who takes up on Leo's offer (if that's his name) to be ripped off once the work's done. Anyways the above quote is basically saying "Hey, we might not be successful with your money (high chance!) but if it works, there's a huge potential market demand." You know what they call them? MLM's for example. Now being paid in isk / plex is hilariously dumb. FYI, people can request that they be paid in real currency here since it's a project outside the scope of the game. Well maybe not here but on Skype, you can make the request.

So,

So you think you can tell,
heaven from hell?
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field?
From a cold steel rail
A smile from a veil
do you think you can tell?
Did they get you to trade
your heroes for ghosts
hot ashes for trees
hot air for a cool breeze
cold comes with the change
Did you exchange
a walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage....
