Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are not constructive, insulting or rude may be deleted, no matter how valid the ideas behind them may be.

Thank you.

A thread discussing prior moderation? Surely this won't be locked.

So, since any form of public communication about the fact that Volunteer moderation (esp with an evident lack of training/history lesson) is a poor idea for the EvE-O forums is useless;

Whack-a-mole it is.

Stenssoned; When a constructive thread is locked for spam, trolling or personal attacks.

We should apply for this to be added to the dictionary.

I'm not sure why the shirt tucking thread was nuked, although I can see an argument made that the OP could not possibly be that stupid and was blatantly trolling.

I'm well past under estimating that particular capability of the EVE community.

The thread that was locked was inflammatory and clearly lacked any real content and/or basis for continued constructive discourse, hence it was locked. Continued posting of threads consisting of little to no content and/or personal attacks on CCP staff are not the sign of people wishing to conduct rational conversation, and thus they were also locked.

The shirt tucker was a random newbie who hadn't been able to find the tuck button. The thread got stenssoned before anyone could answer the newbie's question.

(Question got answered on like the third ressurected thread off that)

Didn't the Devs deem picking on newbies to be a bannable offence?

The real question here is; Will Stensson be banned for such a terrible act that wil no doubt affect CCP's income & that of the NPE?

I've been Forum warring for a lot longer than I've been in Waffles.

Mod warring is just a new fun trick.
