Hey Soundwave,

I do ALOT of Covert Ops, Black Ops, and Force Recon roams and operations. Over the last month a few friends and mine agreed that a stealth DESTROYER would be a very cool concept. However, like the stealth bomber this ship would prioritize for it's max damage on a single aspect and that aspect would be player deployed mines.

Our idea is as follows.

Ship Details:
(Gallente Details)

Name: Turtis
Hull: Unknown
Role: Sapper

This vessel was designed with the intent to guard Stealth Bombers, Force Recon, and Black Ops ships from counter stealth forces. By using it's advanced mine launcher modules it has the ability to deploy fully programmable mines to guard the rears of fleets from enemy stealth bombers and cloaked ships.

Developer: Duvolle Laboratories

Gallente Destroyer Bonus:
10% Bonus to Mine Thermal Damage Per Level
10% Bonus to Mine Blast Radius

Sapper Skill Bonus:
5% Bonus to Mine Launch Speed Per Level
10% Bonus to Mine Scan Resolution Programmability

Special Ability:
Can fit Mobile Mine Launcher

Mine Details

4 types of deployable (damage) mines (max, 4 each).

- Thermal
- Kinetic
- Electro-Magnetic
- Explosive

2 types of deployable (logistics) mines (max, 1 each).

- Mini Bubble Mine, Lasts 30 Seconds MAX (Kind of like the interdictors, but it also prohibits use of MWD's)
- Mini Webification Blast, Last 45 Seconds (Mini Web from Mine to Target)

What mines CAN do:

- Can be programmed to Arm themselves when PROGRAMMED scan resolution is detected.
AKA: You can say "Arm Mine when Signature Radius of 350 or greater is detected within 5km".

- Mines are CLOAKED but still follow all normal cloaking rules (Become decloaked if uncloaked ship flies within 2km)

What mines CANNOT do:

- No more then 4 mines total can be launched.

- No more then 4 damaging mines can be deployed at one time.

- No more then 1 logistics mine can be deployed at any given time.

- Mines CANNOT be re-cloaked.

Main ability would be it's 4 launchable mines. Which would have a maximum deployment time of 12-15 minutes and would "implode" if the destroyer is destroyed or leaves the system. The mines would also be programmable, so that the user can say "Explode when [x] Signature Radius is detected. Mines would also have to be 50 km from other player owned mines, but only 5km from their own mines.

Also, the mines would be "cloaked" as they are for stealth fleets. So the 2km would apply to decloaking the mines. So lets say that a Battleship flys over a mine, but the mine is set to <= 45 Signature Radius so it wouldn't explode, but it would be decloaked by the Battleship and then become aggresible by the battleship.

This is just a generalized idea, but we (My friends and I) think it would be very cool.

I keep forgetting to repair my ship while docked, I'm not sure if there's a way of seeing if my ship is damaged or not while docked? well if not, it would be cool to show some damage bar or something on the fitting screen.

Also, I don't get why I need to undock to adjust stuff on my overview? please do something with that.

And, I don't know if this is a glitch, but the very first mission that noobs have to do is undock in a pod and warp to get their new ship. I've done this a few times now, and each time the ship has no civi gun & mining lazor fitted. Not a big deal except for the fact that the next mission requires you to kill rats lol

Dear Soundwave,

This idea was completely lost in the dark but i believe it could be VERY easy to implement, and VERY useful to anyone who has anything to do with shuffling blueprints around, so i will repost:

Make mousing over a blueprint give useful information such as ME/PE/Runs remaining.

You have already recently changed the mouseover info to accommodate the new 'price' information... [what a complete waste of time that was] how about using your time for something useful that people can [and will] actually use ?

i challenge you to find a single pilot in eve, who has anything to do with blueprints, that thinks this is a bad idea.

Move the Raven model's 7th (CNR) and 8th (NPCs) launcher positions to the main body of the ship. Find a spot to slap them on. Launchers still look terrible on the wingtips.

Every day that passes people love CCP a little bit more

Rage over drones drops
Rage over incursions
Rage over wardecs
Rage over UI
Rage over FW
Rage over ATX

All these in little more than 1 month

I starting to think that either CCP doesn't know the product they are selling any more or they are just going down with "style" Sad

How about implementing in to the game sort of self powered mobile light storage facility ?

A tiny and small when packed structure that may be unpacked at any spot and be anchored like regular container, same rules as for containers would apply for trashing this structure if untouched for a long time.
Would consume like 1 fuel cell a day or maybe more.
Would be unprobable like containers.
Structure should contain at least 1 container to go online as it's fuel will be stored all together with other goods in the same container space.
Structure capacity may be expanded by adding more containers (I guess supposed to be limited to some max number of containers ) all containers space is joined together and owner gets total value of space avail as one piece.
Structure may be limited for usage in 00 space only and might be expanded at least to 100 000 m3 approx 26 giant secure containers.

This facility might be extremely useful at WH space, undercover operations in 00 and many other different situations as light mobile supply point.

You can set a hot key to open the overview settings while in station, I agree that there needs to be an easier way tho

Devs, please see this thread here about how FOF missiles are broken and attack inert non aggressing LCO structures in mission pockets instead of targeting only aggressing ships and towers and sentries - which is how they are described to work:

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&find=unread&t=125044

Since missiles have been getting love lately maybe this can be added for Soon™.

Considering how old this thread is, are the devs even interested in it anymore?

put subtotals at the bottom of the market transactions log. So if i filter by an item, i see the subtotal for that item on that page... or just the subtotal for the page.

When using D-Scan Instead of the tick box "Use Active overview Settings" why not change that to a drop down where you can select your saved overview profiles.

- Bigger Scan button on D-Scan
- Better angle slider on D-Scan.

-When saving a bookmark please default to personal folder not the last used.

-When scanning signatures can my ignored results be saved perminantly? Currently these are cleared on session changes.
-When scanning signatures with probes could the red dots stay on screen for a short ammount of time in a fog of war kind of style say 5min since the last detection?

-This might need some consideration but i would like to see a single save-able default probe formation because jumping to a system launching 7 probes making my formation then doing it again and again and again for each system is not fun, not in the slightest.

I hope this thread is still being looked at.

This would be really awesome, formation and range pre determinate for each probe type (rather than filter)

i'd like to see the names in the Name column in the overview use some sort of abbreviation or other scheme that will allow me to get more useful information from teh first inch or so of space.

yes it is a small thing but it would be nice if when you invite someone to your fleet you had a pop up option to share lot or wreck (salvage rights) yes no as it is great to come in with a marauder and help kill then salvage with there permission yet there is still the theft counter and no tractoring of the wrecks as they are yellow and owned by someone else even though he wants you to salvage. another thing is a manual reconnect to drones like probes if you happen to jump out of a mission and they dont make it back to you in time.

I don't know, if it has been mentioned, but it could be nice that if you have chosen to merge ships and items into the hangar, that the tab with, the items are the upper one when you dock, if you have left it up, when you undocked.

As it is now, the ship tab is always the upper one, and if you want to dump your salvage you either have to drop it on the tiny space of the tap behind the ship tab or click the item tab itself to bring the items part of the hangar to the front, as you can only drop salvage into your hangar when the item tab is active (Before the update June 25th, you were able to just drop it at the general direction of the hangar, and it did not matter, if the ships or the items tab was active.)

With great power comes great electricity bill.

Just revert us to the previous inventory system.

It will make soo many customers happy, I just can't see why this hasn't been done already.

Happy customers are good for business , unhappy customers, well... you figure it out.
