Anybody still seeing inconsistencies in local?
Saw someone jump out of a quiet backwater system, but they didn't disappear from local for more than a minute.

Just seeing if anyone has seen the same before I put in a report.

Edit:
Clarification if required.

Jump into system, one other here.
Hit warp to (some range from ) the next gate and cloak.
Sit off gate for a bit.
Other resident appears on gate in what is unlikely cloaky ship, jump animation fires.
Other resident still showing in local.
Sit and wait.
Still waiting.
More than a minute later (maybe more than 2) someone else jumps in, other resident disappears from local.

Your inconsistency is called "logging off".

I hereby dub you Mr Derp.

Just happened again.
Red Loki arrives at gate, jump animation fires, pilot (the only other than me) disappears from space but not from local.
30 secs later, someone else jumps in, Loki pilot is gone.

Yeah, may be exactly that. I'm out in systems that were still waking up and underpopulated at the best of times.

Or laggy connection? Have you recorded when he appears on the other side?

Doubt it's lag. Can jump, target and fire fine. Apparently.

Edit: And in both cases they've been gone from the next system by the time I've jumped through.

Okay, Mr. smartypants what are they going to replace it with, or are you going to just sit there and spam D-scan every two seconds?

Yeah, so that means that local updates when a new member jumps in, not in and out like it used to.

That's kinda' bad...

That's exactly what happens in wormholes. Then again, they are for the pros.

I haven't had any Local issues since a couple of days after the inventory change patch, and to my knowledge it has been fixed.

what's wrong with spamming dscan? do you think that submarines in ww2 were able to tell who was in the water with them by looking at some screen?

Hmmm... You wouldn't have noticed if you were properly AFK the way you're supposed to be when cloaking. Does this mean that some cloakers are not actually AFK? Shocked
