I'm want to start reading the EVE Books but before I don't want to get thrown back and forth on the timeline. Is there a recommended order one should follow when reading the EVE Books?

Also... on the EVE Store I only see "The Empyrean Age" & "The Burning Life". On Amazon I see "Templar One". What else is out there?

Thanks.

You have to read Empyrean Age before Templar One.
I don't know about burning life.

I think those 3 are the only books available. All three are independent books. Empyrean age and templar one focus on the main EVE storyline, while burning life is largely irrelevant in the big picture. I'd definitely read the empyrean age before templar one. The burning life isn't really connected to anything and at times reads like an introductionary brochure to the EVE factions tied together by a revenge plot. It's more about small stories and small people, and sheds some light on the EVE universe through them.

Empyrean Age was so good, Im reading it a second time now. Tony Gonzales is one hell of a writer. ^^

Before reading the books, read Tony Gonzales' short stories. They are very good, are free, and provide excellent background to the events in both Empyrean Age and Templar One-as well as immersion into the world of Eve Online.

1) First read Theodicy (100 years before? can't remember)
2) Then Ruthless (How Otro Garushi became CEO of Ishukone)
(not sure if there are more by Tony? In my opinion the other short stories that are not by him are just not good)
3) Empyrean Age (VERY GOOD)
4 )Templar One (OK, but felt like a long Prologue to a better novel)

Don't waste your time on Burning Life it is a pile. I got just under halfway through before wanting to gouge my eyes out. Every copy should be collected and burned (my apologies if the author comes across this post, but it is just not a good book)
