Using Trial Account Alts to Bash a POS -- CCP Answer Plz

If CCP turns a blind eye to people recycling alts and using trial accounts for Hulkaggedon, why would they care about doing it for a POS. v0v

I was commenting on MNG's ridiculous idea, which is just <14d old trials, 21d if he sent out 100 buddy invites.


You'd still do Arty tornado or Rail Talos/Naga pretty well. And chaining buddies is just as free, since you get the one plex you bought at the beginning back at the end.

You and I have very different definitions of 'pretty well', those trials are going to have basically no support skills, be a nightmare to fit, and do negligible damage

And it's only 'free' if you happen to have like 45bil lying around, or a spare $2000 you feel like RMTing, or you have a burning desire to sub for 8 years and want to do something stupid before you apply it.

Every time you add the first Plex to a buddy account, you get a Plex. Thus with one plex, you can activate any number of buddy accounts. The end result is a bunch of free 51d subs. As of yet, I have not heard anything about this being against the rules.

Those 51d heroes will be plenty good enough to bash an undefended POS efficiently. You don't exactly need much support to kill a space-stick.

The 50+b pricetag I talked about was to suicide gank it, not simply POS bash it.

I wouldn't recommend using a proxy/VPN to connect to EVE. Bad things have happened there.

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration

You're also right, for a posbash like he's talking about the dps figures are irrelevant. T3's have the range needed and will certainly get the job done eventually.

What multiboxing aid? You mean "EVE in Window Mode" with up to 2 clients per monitor? Miners and mission-runners don't need some silly helping-software to keep up with their ships. So if you can handle 100 accounts at the same time, it should be legal for you to make 100 trial alts just to bash a POS.

EvE has whitelisted ISBoxer so long as you ONLY use it to broadcast keystrokes/mouseclicks. Never to automate anything.

Not that you need it for a POS bash. Capstable Lasers with T1 ammo. Turn them all on > minimize all windows > Do something else.

Well, since nobody in-game can tell for sure if those alts are just your temporary obonus dps or new players you've talked into helping you kill a POS there should be no legal implications.
