FC Flashcard Game?

I dunno if there is a very extensive FC guide that covers what to do if certain fleet types face off against a counter, but if not I think it'd be awesome if someone had the time and knowledge to make a flashcard game out of it. I think that'd be a great way to at least make people more aware of the power and natural reaction to certain fleets and may inadvertently draw in some unexpected FC talent from the EvE Universe.

The way I was thinking was pose a three part scenario: Your fleet, enemy fleet, and location or situation (on a gate, at optimal, outside your optimal but in enemy optimal like sniper fleet, intel reinforce on the way etc) and then a handful of choices like retreat, close gap, engage...etc.

I dunno what you think, but I think it would be fun...someone do it!

EDIT: Or!!!! Or....we could even play it right here on the forums...but I sense there would be debate on the right answers. Lol

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

I came into this thread thinking someone had created a flash player card game with well known FC's throughout the existence of EVE. Like maybe memorable quotes and faces. Players would have to match the FC's to the quotes or something.

Left disapointed. Sad

Sorry love.... I'd do it, but I don't know any famous FC's.

If you put forth some effort and ask the right people, I bet you could come up with a really great list if you wanted. If you do I wish you the best of luck. It would be something great to pass the time and relive memories old and new for everyone. Big smile

Well for now I have changed the thread title to be less misleading....I uh.....added a question mark to the end.

My advice is to find a group of players during your time zone, get together a stack of ISK you all don't care about and PVP like there is no tomorrow. Sure people can try to teach you how to FC, but being a good FC is different for everyone and every group. What works for me might be terrible for you.

A good FC knows what his guys are capable of. When they should fight and when they should run. The best FC's have his guys jump in either way and go balls to the wall and give zero fucks.

It is just pixels and there will always be tomorrow. F1, F2, F3...

More Drakes. Call in Mainfleet. Reship and get more drakes.

A final round of reships before --

Hotdrop with the superrifter fleet.

Triggered by: Wars of Sovless Agression, Bending the Knee, Twisting the Knife, Eating Sov Wheaties, Bombless Bombers, Fizzlesov, Interceptor Fleets, Running Away, GhostTime Vuln, Renters, Bombs, Bubbles ?

So what do drakes do when they run into a fleet of zealots? Or is that why we're reshipping?

There was a card game before but they don't do it anymore. Second Genesis
Quote:
The Game Concept

You must produce a steady income by claiming the outer regions of space and harvesting their rich resources. Enhance your star base and defend it from incoming threats. Build a fleet of spaceships and send them on missions to reduce your opponents’ income, steal their resources, and ultimately destroy their star bases.

Victory Conditions

If all your opponents’ star bases have been destroyed, or you have met an alternative victory condition, you win the game. If you are to draw a card when none are left in your deck, you lose the game.

Yeah, I remember that. I actually preferred this http://who8mylunch.com/EveShipList_101.pdf I wonder how outdated the info on here is. My only problem is its a comprehensive list and not a flashcard game, s I never learned it. Lol

I did print it out and try to find the ships on the list when I saw them in local....that is a horrible way ot go about it. P

Heh....that's sort of neat. It' be better if it were more along the lines of yugioh....
