Free skillpoints for participants of mass-tests

Hi all,

Please keep all discussion and complaints about free skillpoints for mass-tests within this thread.

Free skillpoints?

As small incentive and reward for participating in mass test events we (CCP QA) are adding two million free skill points on our standard test server Singularity to the characters, which were present in the mass test. These skill points are given through the skill reimbursement tool.

The exact rules (as specified on the Evelopedia page about mass-tests):


  • The character has to participate in the mass test. If anybody joins late or leaves early he might get nothing.
  • Rule-breakers might get removed from the list.
  • 2 million skill-points per mass-test, they are normally applied one or two days after the mass test.
  • When a new mirror is applied the skill-points of the last five mass tests (max. 10M SP) are reapplied (within 2 days after the mirror).
  • We can normally only verify complaints about missing skill-points from a mass-test for 1-2 weeks after the mass-test or till the next mirror happens. Always include the exact date of the mass test, for which skill points are missing.

From the thread on the old forum: Bigthump: I applied skillpoints, even if you were quite late with joining.
TehRoot: I'm sorry, but I cannot verify mass-tests from June any longer.

I did not recieve my skillpoints reward, due to being podded early in the combat tests (which caused me to not be present at the conclusion of the mass-test). Please also note that the podding was not accidental, due to smartbomb-use, or any other potentially-excusable reasons. Copy of the killmail follows:

Hello, I participated in 2 mass tests from the beginning of this year and I got both of them, then my membership ran out, and I activated the 5 day add on and when I entered the test server I found that I had 2 million less skill points, then participated in the August the10th mass test and after completing it, I waited about 2 days, and still didn't get the skill points or the missing skill points from the other mass tests, and still haven't got them now.

Ikreleth: Well, there was no mass-test on August 10th, but there was one on August 9th - and you participated in this one. You also got skillpoints for this one, on August 10th. Mass-tests from the beginning of the year are no longer relevant for skillpoints.

2 million skillpoints have been applied to 425 characters, which participated in yesterday's mass-test. Thank you for helping out.

As a new mirror was deployed to Singularity today, the skillpoints of the previous 5 mass-tests were re-applied. This were the mass-tests on the 9th August, the 18th August, the 25th August, the 8th September, and the 22nd September.

This character is missing 4mil skillpoints, can dig up from what dates if neccessary.

EDIT: Disregard the above, I just recieved them, maybe you were really quick or maybe my character was really slow, either way thanks :)

My char is missing 2 mils SP, i have 6 instead of 8. I am pretty sure i was on 4 mass tests last mirror.

yeah im missing 4million skillpoints i was on 2 masstest last mirror so i should have gotten 10mill not 6

I got 2 million skill points from last week's mass test but i'm pretty sure i participated in more tests than that. Don't know if it was august? But participated on that one where we shot some revenants. The one i got in late and wasn't sure if i was going to get some point or not... but i patted you on the cheek and said "Oh you're such a good Dev! Come on!!! Such a goody devy!!" and then you gave me some SP hehehe

2 million skillpoints were applied to 803 characters for the mass-test yesterday. As we a a lot of node crashes we decided to give skillpoints to all players, who logged into Sisi during this time-frame, even if they did not make it to the test system. Enjoy your skillpoints!

Diana Valenti, tristin12, Renan Ruivo: Can you remember in which mass-tests you were participating? Please keep in mind that mass-test before the 9th August were no longer valid.

First, let me thank all CCP employees/GM's for all their hard work on the wonder that is EVE. Also, all the bug-hunters and other workers on the Singularity test server.
Now, after the most recent mirror on Sisi, I noticed that only 2 million of my awarded skillpoints carried over after the mirror. I have participated in three out of the four last mass-tests (the only one I missed being the testing of Time Dialation), so I should have 6 million free skillpoints. I would appreciate this being fixed, and again, thanks for all your hard work. Keep it up! Smile

Hmmm, your character is only in my lists for the mass-test on the 22nd September. Can you give me any details in which mass-tests you were present and for example if you joined late or left early. Due to the mirror my logs are massively reduced, so it might be difficult to track this down.

Yes, I participated in a mass-test on September 8th, where I got podded halfway through the PvP fight (please see my earlier post in this same thread). I was also in the one on September 29th, where I got DC'd right after the PvP fight, before the NPC fights began (EVE crashed due to unrelated issues with my PC...but I managed to get back in towards the end of the NPC fighting).
If you need any further details/info, please let me know.

The skill-points for the last two test were re-applied to Sisi, as we switched back to the old mirror.

Saturday [October 1st] @ 17:00 GMT on Singularity - ~300 players
Thursday [September 29th] @ 20:00 GMT on Singularity - ~350 players
I attended both those mass-tests on the characters "Deathwarmdup and Chris Baileyy" but haven't received the SP on the mirror currently on duality so im missing 4M sp

chris, if you don't have those SP you probaly didn't turn up in the logs, so you either came to late, or didn't come at all and just want free SP...so far habukak hasn't made any mistakes i think?
and its duality, you won't be playing much there anyway

Yes i was there most of my accounts received the SP except them 2 cause they kept crashing cause my PC sucks And im pretty sure the duality mirror goes on sisi soon
