This Rant is the Product of bad choices, and the lack of recognizing what makes something look badass. camo on spaceships does NOT look badass

I can live with camo on ****** faction navy ships, but on the vindi.... God damn it ...

In space you camoflauge with a cloak, not paint jobs. The old black w/ green tint and green lights was WIN. This gray and black camo Is so terribad I am seriously considering not flying one of the sweetest numerical ships in the game. Sorry to rant, but this camo crap drives me crazy. Sansha ships look great now, as do blood raider ships. Why did the vindi get ruined, and not to mention my vigilant. GRRRRRR.

If we're going to talk realism (griping about space camouflage, lol) you're going to get far more of a signature from the fusion torch up your rear-end than the paint on the ship. Certainly visual-spectrum albedo plays a role, but this is an MMO and it would be pretty boring flying around matte-black ships.

E: I might also add that you probably haven't seen the shader-renders floating around with manufacturer colors.

Nancy, the nice old lady who lives in the same folks home I live in had a boy who drives a truck that's painted camo. It makes me wonder how exactly he hunts out of his truck. A few days ago I got my Grandson Ted a Camo shirt, he dosnt hunt but I thinks its the style in these parts. I hope the shirt fits him seeing that h's been growing so fast lately. When I was his age I grew faster then a green bean in a well fertilized cow pasture. I was a good two heads taller then most of the boys my age.

Agreed I dont want matte Black... Look at the new Sansha paint job.. Imagine it darker and green tinted, and with green lights where they belong... That is what the vigilant and vinidcator should look like.

its true i have a 4 billion isk vindi that i refuse to use simply because of it colour and not its price...

As much as I don't like it, I'll take the camo we have over the dazzle camouflage formerly used on wet navy ships.
