You're overlooking one very important thing. The moment the catalyst in your example touches the bubble, CONCORD swoops in and destroys both the bubble and the miner who deployed it.

(Assuming we're still talking about theoretically deploying them in high-sec which is what this was originally about)

So they increased their ability for reward and at the same time increased there risk.

At least it looks like the balance for ganking is working correctly.

Pro tip: Move to nullsec where you can have these bubbles.
It's simple. You get a dead end system, ragecage the ingate, and if a neut come in you run to your POS.

Actually... don't do that. If you did we wouldn't have wonderful threads like this.

Ummm Interdiction bubbles work in the reverse of the way you are describing.

Anything in side a bubble can't warp to include yourself.

They are used in 0.0 by placing them in a direct line between the gate and the grav site you are mining.
On your grid but ~ 100km off from where you are mining. (sometimes the just bubble the entire gate)

SO if anyone comes from the gate they will get stuck in the bubble giving you time to warp away in a totally different direction.

THey would be completely useless in high-sec do to traffic and the abuse factor.
Gate campers would love them say one of the gates 2 jumps off jita.

You will never see in high-sec.
But something tells me you already know all this Big smile
