A chron in the classic vein! Loved it.. Two thumbs up d| |b

It's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then, and it's a poor sort of memory that only works backward.

I approve of any addition and change to the game that furthers the fight for freedom. Especially when it involves burning Amarr whores in an inferno.

For your notice the story was set in the Federation, between a series of locals working for Duvolle labs. The Amarr are not even mentioned.

Nice read.

I would love to see this rendered as a movie... using machinima techniques, w/ properly recorded dialogue and custom music.

It would be similar in some ways to the "EVE Fanfest Cinematic Trailer 2012."

Has CCP created or released any sort of tool for creating machinima? Would be awesome for fan fiction.

Really enjoyed it. Nice piece of sci fi:

* personal motives involved: CHECK
* moral dillema: CHECK
* high tech involved: CHECK
* V for Vendetta: CHECK

You (CCP) guys should seriously consider making an EVE movie. Even though die hard RPers complain about TonyG books, I would love to see one of his books filmed.

As a short story it was well written apart from the ending... it made no sense... it.. just... would... not.. (I say again) not happen like that. Shocked
Any code written in that hour by the hero would have been Decompiled- Virtualised- Assessed- Streamlined- Simulated
& checked ad infinitum (sort of) up to being placed into the device & then installed onto a ship with people on it.

You do realize "we" don't even know how the jumpgates work?

Then think about how long they've been around, and how much they must have been studied.

And then think about your statement in the context of EVE again.

I never had a reason to read the chronicles in detail. But after this, I think its safe to say that the chronicles have one more fan now now.

Me LIKE!

Nicely written story. I love how all these chronicles weave the EVE universe into a coherent whole.

I wonder if the scientific vocabulary was used relevantly though. Sadly my intellectual score is well below 200/0.5.

Aki watched the dim glow from Kia's imported cigarette illuminate her face and smooth naked torso as she took a deep drag.
Was torso really the most appropriate word in this sentence? I understand you need to avoid certain words considering it's a publicly accessible website, but what's wrong with body or skin?

In the end, all that really matters though is that the bad guy and his evil mistress were burned in a blistering blaze.

I thought the story was very enjoyable.

I can't say the quality of the writing was very good, though. It made me wince in a few spots, especially the opening Straight

I really liked the Story, but a few parallels come into mind about the way this drug works more specifically the movie "Limitless". Except with a massive caveat. I would have spent some time writing another piece of code that actually alerted everyone within coms range(which is the entire EVE universe thanks to the Gates) about the whole Trick these 2 asses played on me before sending them to their warm demise Twisted

What I wonder is; if we're in a universe that has cloning technology and the possibility to scan and store the state of a brain, why the hell didn't they just create a clone of the guy before testing the drug on him? Then when he's burned out, you simply activate the clone and he's back to normal again.

Understandably this would not be in the best interest of Avagher, but if Aki is such a smart guy one would think this is the first thing he thought of.

It definitely was!

SUCH a fitting ending to this chronicle. I felt bad for Aki, but when he pulled off his well calculated revenge.. what a badass, even in death.

As far as MJD, give one to me and I'll die a thousand times to make it work properly!

I'm being serious too, always up for a prototype MJD CPP *cough cough*Blink
