Ive recently read that there will be changes to the frigates for the Inferno Expansion (and afterward). Now while I agree that this is a pretty good idea to redefine how some frigates work and what not, I feel I must fiannaly make my ideas heard.

I have always hated how the Imicus and its sister the Helieos look. Being Gallente, these ships should look beautiful by nature.

I propose to CCP that they switch the roles of the Navitas and the Imicus. The Navitas is beautiful. It looks fast. and if you ask me It even looks like a ship used for exporation. That bulky compartment on the side even looks like it should be the drone bay/ or cargo hold. What true gallente pilot can disagree that the navitas deserves this role.

On the other hand the imicus looks more like a support ship. What ever the plan is for the Navitas please, PLEASE reassign that project to the imicus (and her sister); and let us have our Navitas exploration / scout ship.

Though I do agree that the Space Trout looks better than the Imicus. The Imicus looks like it had a tragic birth defect surgically removed and is still in physiotherapy.

True that, imicus and helios REALY looks like some ******** ships. I wish they are only ones. Dominix, Hyperion even Incursus looks like idiot with that spear.

Agreed. The Navitas looks more suited for the Imicus' job, while the Imicus doesn't look like its designed for anything but cannon-fodder.

Many of the game's ship designs are....alarmingly impractical to say the least. Gallente can at least build some ships that are reasonably symmetrical though.

Agreed, the imicus is ugly. Maybe the best thing is to redesign it from the ground up.

Part of me wants to say turn the navitas into a tiny combat drone boat and add a new mining vessel or let the imicus do double duty as exploration and mining.

Yea.. The Navitas is "rad"

And I can't sell a single damn one of them!

(No, actually I only sold one.. so, I could sell one, and even for being the lowest in the region I'm in with the busiest constellation at that! meh..)

Most players get a navi doing the career tuts and as long as you stick to highsec your chances of losing them are pretty low. There are also better miners that don't take that long to get into.

The only reason our hardworking devs gave us new sb models is because torp launchers won't fit on the old ones. Navitas will probably have to suffer a while longer...

ATTACK FRIGATES: in general faster than the other frigates, with good damage, suited for interception or just damage dealing, but less resilient than combat frigates. Includes the Executioner (turret ship), Bantam (turret ship), Atron (turret ship), Navitas (dedicated drone ship), Slasher (turret ship) and Burst (TBD, possibly drone ship if role doesn't conflict with Navitas)
