the warzone control table of the FW window sorts the "capture status" column wrong. Please let it handle the numbers properly it looks as it sorts it as plain strings.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

REMOVE the unified window patch, make it OPTIONAL or FIX it, please.

I like having my ships, station inventory, and cargo ALL open when I dock. The rest I can live with, but it will still suck if you don't at least fix that. Browsing for new windows to open is a pain. I've been subscribed now for close to nine years -it's hard to accept a change to something that wasn't broken to begin with.

I agree, the Unified Inventory just makes more sense to put it as the Assets (Alt + T) rather than replacing the windows that make up the items hanger, ships hanger, all corporation hangers, pos corporation hangers, and the cargobay.

Seriously, there was nothing wrong with that and with Unified Inventory as the assets window that would have been great!

If anyone disagrees with me please make yourself known.

By the logic of the dev posts I've read about Unified Inventory one could interpret that by having less windows is good.

Why not put everything that eve has to offer in one window? Assets, Chat, Browser, Local, Overview, in space view, hud, station buttons, captain's quarters, and the entire neocom and it's windows. Who needs all those pesky windows popping up??

The reason I posted that, was more to make the statement that in it's current state the Asset Manager would have less overall impact. As an Asset Manager change they could get their feedback, take time and perfect it and gradually roll changes to the broader inventory/cargo screen.

I wish they would have:
1. Only roll this change into Asset Manager on SiSi.
2. Get feedback, if the feedback is negative but they really want to move forward on TQ then do what they did for the contract revamp, have a Beta option if you want to use the new system.
3. Keep perfecting it until most are happy and more people are using the Beta Asset Manager.
4. Repeat process for inventory/cargo screen.

If your going to make changes of this size you better make sure your replacing things that make people want to use it. It's exactly like when they thought getting rid of the ship hanger and replacing it with CQ was a good idea. Sure CQ was pretty but it's function compared to the old ship hanger actually made people have to work harder or wait longer to do something. That's going backwards no matter how much prettier it may be.

I hope I'm doing this right as I've never used the forum before. I have to agree with many of the comments I've read in here about the new hangar/inventory windows stuff. For me this new change is absolutely horrible and makes getting anything done a time consuming and frustrating task. Personally I like to have as many windows open as I want so I can see what I want and have it where I want to see it. As some have said it would be nice if this particular new feature were optional like has been done with the load station environment option. Frankly this is the closest thing yet that has given me reason to ponder whether to continue playing the game or not. It almost seems as if you are deliberately trying to force us to have fewer windows open at any given time. If many windows causes your servers extra work or not I don't know but I would say if it does then you should fix that particular problem with the servers as oppossed to shoving this mess down our throats! I absolutely love this game but I mean really!!! Where on earth do some of these ideas come from?

With the lack of response from ccp all I can say is ccp think we're all not worthy of there reply or why wont the ginger from ccp make a comment or at the very least get the Dev that made this crap at least respond.

CCP seem hell bent on making changes there PAYING members don't approve of, that alone is arrogant and very self destructive.

Unified Inventory can go die in a fire. Seriously. Nothing in Inferno was worth having to deal with this ****. If you can't roll back the Unified Inventory, then roll back the entire damn expansion.

yeah, hate to say it, but can't disagree with that, sure the missile effects are nice and shiny, war decs needed a revamp, yet... they're still not satisfying a lot of players from what it sounds like, this update was mostly good intentions gone to waste.

Unified Inventory just made something simple take 5 times longer. Forcing us to press shift every time I want to open one container then scroll back up to find another one. What would happen if I lost my left arm in war... Impossible to change ships or search corp hangers in a timely fashion as the game is searching every single hanger, can, or even 50 POS battery and their ammo. Salvaging is horrible as I'm getting 2-3 second glitch if I open up one wreck, suppose it's checking the market value. POS maintenance, cap corp hangers, intensive industrial work is confusing as hell as I'm now sure what I just threw my loot into and must then right click to make sure it landed in the right tab or open up ever single window to a new, clogging my screen with unnecessary windows which don't prior position themselves . Window is huge and clunky making something as passing cap charges in combat harder. Putting us at risk trying to loot a wreck that takes 5 seconds longer and not even knowing if its the right one or who owns it. We've told CCP on SIS how bad unified inventory was but they still went through the change. Telling us we will get used to it. Guess our input doesn't really matter to them. Never logging into the test server again. I'm guessing this is all a "TEST for the up coming DUST 514 playstation game as they don't use a mouse and must have a "tree" inventory.

Give us the option to revert back to the old fine method! I'd consider myself and others in my group life time customers but I have unsubscribed multiple accounts if this doesn't get fixed.

P.S. first post doesn't go through....

So, uh, I just tried to load the game, and I get this error message:

"The EVE launcher cannot update a directory from which processes are running. Please close the following process: exefile.exe"

Going via Task Manager, apparently a "CCP Exefile" has been sitting on ~113MB of memory since I last ran the game.

I already hated the launcher with burning, poisonous fire - yes, fire THAT IS POISONOUS - I really wasn't looking for more reasons to be annoyed by it. Seriously, pre-launcher, if I wanted to run the game, I just ran it. Now, I run the launcher, click Play, and nothing happens, so half the time I think I misclicked, click again, and then thirty damn seconds later, two instances of the game finally appear. And then it takes as long to go from there to actual playing as it used to, so the launcher is just adding an extra delay and annoyance.

Also, in the more general issues category, at least a year on from when it started being a problem, I still can't play fullscreen, because if I subsequently dare to tab out of the game, it casts a deep grey pall across my screen. What the hell?

Edit: Oh, and regarding the new inventory system: I liked the old one, and I miss it, but the main reason the new one actively annoys me is that when I loot the contents of a wreck, it pops up the inventory window, EVERY SINGLE TIME, and I have to make it go away again. The old one let me just put stuff in my cargo without needing to open up my entire inventory again.

god, i'm so glad i wasn't the one who brought that up, i really didn't want to be the first to say it, on one hand if that is the case (which honestly, would explain way too much) we do have one small concession to this ruining of the game:

it's probably due to sony forcing ccp, not ccp themselves directly, whoever's fault it is however, hear one thing:

funny part is you can press the << button to hide it. so just one more step, the way windows open, and it's a great new UI

yes becuase the new UI, which is just like the tree in windows 7, is obviously built for console games. since you know, eve online is going to get ported soon.

oh wait that's just paranoid
