I don't see the point of trying to fix something that isn't broken. Having more than one window is natural. I like clicking and dragging, seeing exactly what is in both places when moving items. I understand that I can now use "click+shift" to get 2 windows open but I'm having a difficult time understanding why any of us should have to go through those hoops. I'm not really seeing a benefit of this new asset management system. It frustrates me that you're reverting back to the old "ccp knows best" routine that we saw in Incarna.

I'm trying my best not to gripe or complain, the work you guys did on the war dec system and missile launchers is great. I was really looking forward to Inferno on the release date but the flare for it sort of died 5 minutes in after I first logged in and couldn't quickly figure out how to load missiles into a tengu. I know it's small and silly of people to be complaining about things like inventory looking and feeling different but it's the small things that keep the game enjoyable. This new system in no way makes my user experience "better". I would say that it definitely takes longer to do anything useful like move an object from a can to my cargo unless i hit "loot all". Running an orca with the corp hanger array, ore hold, and cargo hold all open is another click fest entirely now.....and YES, I do need all of them open.

As a new member with a 14 day trial I grew fond of the game and its screen layout. I sign up for 30 days and then the new Inferno expansion is rolled out. All I can say from my new member point of view is the new Inventory is terrible.

Its made my days with the tutorial a nightmare. I now have to relearn the screen layout when I had just got used to the old one.

The new inventory screen is a step backwards from my point of view .

Oh god what a bunch of pussies, no one like change, i like the new UI system once i had played with it a little bit, allot easier to drag and drop, especially on POS's. Stop bitching and adapt!
Though one suggest to improve and make things allot easier for the pussies complaining, let us name the silos.....please

Because drag & drop is so much easier with just one window. May I have what you been smoking?

Also, who came up with the glorious idea to remove "open dronebay" from the ships context menu. What good would possibly do that?

shift
click
win

Shift clik doesnt fix that problem u need to reopen those 2-4 windows every time u redock.. I dont know how many times u guys dock in day but lets say i dock 100 times during day. That makes 200-400 shift clicks / day just to open item bay... That friggin stupid and sux balls.. Inventory itself is ok i guess but it should work in assets and they should kept the old ship / item bays as they were imho.

48 pages thread and not single feedback about anciliary shield booster:

ANCILIARY SHIELD BOOSTER -

IT'S STILL BUGGED as it doesn't receive bonuses from either blue pills or crystals.

CCP pls fix this.

there was a comment somewhere about that, it's something to do with the category they're in (for some reason) bonuses aren't being applied correctly, the timeframe that was given was "within a month" though..

if the change is a "step forward", no, people will love it, as an example, have you heard so much fuzz about the missile animation?Roll

now, if the change is a "step backward", then yes, people will react and often, majority will hate it.

Twisted the Unified Inventory is a good thing, but they should used it with "Assets", not the **** up current implementation that every time you open a container it loads everything, yes you can open it in multiple instances, but who would want every open container loads up your inventory within grid? it's slow, it requires more user interaction, and who the **** wants to asses his/her inventory every time he/she ******* docks or open a wreck or when you're about to steal someone else's wreck near a gate?

I think the new item index is great. it allows organizing like never before. it makes station containers useful because using them is like creating a new tab for a certian invintory. however, if i sort my modules with cans HIGH MEDIUM LOW DRONES AMMO like so, it makes the fittings auto fit tool USELESS

it would be a good idea at this point to allow the fitting tool to auto fit from any sub index in your owned item hanger. i hope CCP considers fixing this.

ALSO, i find that you can not repackage an item that is in a station container.

that alone breaks the item index system, making it just as hard to use as the multiple windows were prior. leaving players in station much longer, sorting items, moving them to the item hanger to repackage, back to the proper station container/index tab, and not out playing the game and having fun.

Found out yesterday the items and ships hangers, and virtually every other window seperated from Unified Inventory, don't stay seperated after log off. It does still remember the positioning and size but you have to Shift + Click to get it back. THIS WILL HAPPEN EVERY TIME YOU LOG ON!!

So this means every time we log on I have to go through the stupid Unified Inventory and Shift + Click all my windows back to where I want them? CCP, you obviously don't play Eve as much as we do.

Spending an extra few moments every time I login to play this game is a complete waste of time when there was nothing wrong with the previous way the windows where placed at. And drag and drop in the Unified Window is not working for me.

In the previous way the windows worked:
For those who complained about persistant windows not working if you opened up the delieveries window it was persistant and it's size and placement remained constant. You could drag and drop your corporation hangers and container windows into that area and it would remember every time you docked in station and also would stay put after log off.

CCP, it would be so much better to rollback the Unified Inventory before you have people getting so frustrated they are unable to play the game as we're used to that I just don't pay you anymore money and close my account. Rollback the windows to get rid of Unified Inventory.

WHY was the inventory changed in the first place? What was WRONG with the 'old' one? Were there people complaining about how 'broke' it was? Was this just someone justifying their job or trying for an award for something new? Whatever the answers are to these questions, the new inventory is NOT an improvement....except for the way you can see the prices of items. That is the only up side I can see.

Eve is a game about time management.. .

the "new Inventory manager is a piece of flypaper in my game.. I feel trapped in my hangar .. it takes waaaay tooo long to find stuff, and manipulate it..

Click, wait, click, wait.. open in new window, open in new window.. open in new window.. EVERY TIME?

This latest change to the Inventory manager sucks buttermilk thru a pink perferated straw..

Change it back and find something else to "play with"..

I gave it a few days and I hate it. Its too time consuming to use the new inventory manager..

Its so frustrating, and you can see that I am playing less.. it really stings guys.. lets remove it..

the other changes that were made are not even my concern, because this one item has killed my play so bad.. I use an orca all the time and this is a real headache with multiple hangars and crap to search thru.. it sucks..

I like to enter my hangar and SEE EVERYTHING. not have to start opening box upon box trying to find stuff and then figure out what box is the one to open to put it in my ship..
It sucks, its tooo deep and its not gonna work.. so **** can it.. so I can ENJOY MY PLAYTIME !!! EvilEvilEvilEvil

So the wars panel of the corporation window now doesn't display any information about whether or not a war is active, as in there is no indication of the 24 hour warmup or cooldown at the start and end of a war.

Also the war history is extremely boss.

Hmm...
It says "started [date]" if it is active and it also has the text "- Can fight at [time]" if it's the warmup time

is this not working for you? if it is not, it would be great if you created a bug report via the in game tool (F12, bottom button)

So, are you guys ever going to make the 'Our Wars tab' show the time that the war ends again (once cooldown has started), or just ignore this incredibly important piece of information? For those of us involved in many wars at a time, this information is vital to our operations.

After I saw Vimsy Vortis mention it I fixed it and it now has additional text " - Ends at {time}" if a war is in the cool down period. The fix will go out Tuesday!

Thank you for mentioning it, it slipped us when implementing Big smile

CC Punkturis the War Reports really need somthing that shows that the double click started the build function. Building a RvB War report Lags in its build up for like 2 min when you build it the first time.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

you know.... i'd nearly gotten over some of this new UI and even started to not really mind it too much for the most part, but then i made a huge mistake and decided to take inventory of the corp hangar to be sure nothing came up missing like others were reporting, i don't think i'll ever recover fully from that particular horror, gee thanks, i was this close to living with it and then i realized to usefully view a corp hangar would easily take up the majority of the screen space.

and i'm sorry, but shift click is not a fix, it's barely even a band aid and it's undocumented, at LEAST make sure people can't miss that and don't expect ANY of us to rely on your PR spin BS for part of our daily workflow, i'm sorry to put it like this, but there's no other way to say it.

Hi CCP. The new missile effects are awesome, as I'm sure you're aware. I've been raving about them, people in game have been raving, etc. You guys pretty much knocked that one out of the park.

The new inventory system is taking some getting used to. I'm sure I'll like it in time.

I'm not sure if it was necessary to give the active shield tank boats a module that allows them to super-active-shield tank, the ancillary shield booster. Most shield tank ships could already put up superior tanks compared to armor tanking boats. Are you wanting Caldari to be the super tank-race that requires a small blob to take them down, and utterly cement them as the preferred mission running race? If that happens, the already numerous Caldari would really take over EVE. If that's your aim, then I for one welcome our new Caldari overlords. Roll

(Also, can you guys boost the Hyperion, please? All the other battleships laugh at it with its puny powergrid and lack of lowslots. Cry)
