The system increased accessibility in one regard but broke it in another. That said, the latest patches are already working on restoring the hanger ability of staying still and remembering location for separate windows. With that in place I'm pretty much sold on this being one of the best UI things EVE has had since new neocom, new contracts and skill queue :D

(P.S. Thank you CCP for letting us name the custom neocom groups finally :D)

Edit: oh yes and I will still give the naysayers the bit about looting sucking horribly, but I don't expect that to last tot he end of the month so in the mean time dealwithit.jpg

i believe the new inventory will take some time to get used to after using the old one for so long but if people are really tht upset tht they unsub im happy to see em go

??? But how is it more, in ur own words, "intuitive" for you?
How has it made things like looting/mining/POS, faster for you?

I'm not particularly thrilled with the new Inventory style... but I also don't hate it. I'm just not used to it yet. However, that said, I question why it was implemented in the first place as the previous style worked quite well, and efficiently, and this new style... doesn't seem as efficient to me (not to mention it LITERALLY takes several minutes [yes, I said minutes] to actually load.).

I use a lot of containers to store stuff in and the new inventory has removed the look of each individual type of container and replaced them all with one generic look... this makes it slightly more difficult for me now as I actually have to read the container names to see what items they are, instead of knowing what items are in what containers, by the look of the container icon.

Sometimes CCP.. you should NOT fix what is NOT broken.. because trying to fix non broken things.. tends to break them.

Now.. I'm going to go off and do non-eve things like I do 99.99% of the time (in other words, I maintain a sub just for the pleasure of training skills, not to actually play the game) and ignore this until it goes away.

*edit* Just a quick note. Jumped into the game a second ago to flip a skill before heading to the beach and decided to take a long gander at the new inventory setup. Can't yet say I like it yet, but I can see it's worth. I'll give it time (and a few hotfixes) before I make any final judgements about it.

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

As of right now u r....
I and others have made points on;
-inv WASN'T broke and did NOT need to be, or was asked to be, broken.
-new inv has made looting/mining/POS more difficult
-extra lag added
-The one, most, used system in-game is now broken, and instead of simply rolling back to prior 'Vanilla Ice Expansion', ccp continues to fix textures on the ankles of female avatars.

And now, I'm trying to see what the trolls, who are claiming "It's so great", to explain their claims.
