Corporation just went pop.

Well, I'm not entirely sure what to do. It seems there is something of a bug in the CEO transfer system in corporations, and its not something I've ever come across, so I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and what the chances are of CCP giving me and my friend our corp back.

There are just the two of us in there, I had transferred the CEO position to her while we tried to sort a few things out, and today she tried to transfer it back. Now, we have done this more than once before whilst teaching her how the various parts of corporation management work so she is well versed in what to do. At the point where she resigns, and has to appoint a new CEO, she chose my character, and at that point we both got booted from the corp, which went pop, taking all of her modules, bpo's, ammo and minerals with it.

As you can imagine this was rather upsetting for her, especially since she is new, and she is blaming herself. So please, if there is a CCP member kicking around who can help, or if anyone has had experience with this before, it would be great to be able to reassure her that this was not her fault, and that her hard work hasn't all just gone up in a puff of smoke never to be returned.

The petition system is generally better than GD posts to get something resolved in game.

I believe any stuff would be in the deliveries bin too, so nothing should be lost.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

A petition has already been filed, but after almost 7 years of playing this game, I know from experience that not only do those sorts of petitions take weeks to answer, but that just sometimes, posting on here can make a difference. It is nice to know that IF we get the corp back, at least all her hard earned belongings will still be there.

The stuff should be there now, same as if you have stuff in a corp hangar and unrent an office. If not, then yeah, the petition wait game is your only option.

Ah, so the items would have been removed from the Corps hangars when it was shut down then? What about any isk in the Corp wallet?

Please don't confuse Beekeeper Bob with a goon. He is definitely not one of us.

He actually hates us almost as much as we hate ourselves.

Edit: Also, I have not seen your issue crop up in relation to myself, but it really sounds like it sucks and i hope it gets worked out fast.

Thanks for the clarification, and thanks for the kind words. It's more my friend I was worried for, only having been in game for 3 weeks and I don't want her being put off by this.

I guess it could be appropriate to use the 'stuck' petition category for this, since you are kind of stuck without your assets and money. I hear that category gets handled faster.

Ah, good idea, since we aren't sure which one of us should have filed a petition (I filed last night, she is going to file today) but I didn't file under the stuck category, I'll get her to do that today. Also, I've been told that if there are items still in the Corporation Hangars when it is dissolved, then all the stuff just vanishes in to thin air. This seems like an incredibly stupid idea to me, why not just have the items sent to the ex CEO?

Anyways, still hoping a GM or Dev will see this and help out. I know it's not long after patch day, but miracles do happen.
