I'm having trouble understanding the new unified items rational. Now it is harder to sort and organize items, takes up more screen space, is slower and requires resetting windows all the time. I won't even mention all the POS and container issues.

UI gets a big thumbs way down, roll it back.

The new missile effects are great. There is the issue with the items menu though.

1. Try managing all this when working within a POS with more than 2 hangers. I have tried moving items around in a POS with 6 CHAs and it is next to impossible. I end up opening up so many windows trying to find what I was looking for and then move it that I could not even see the gameplay screen.

2. Again, when working on capital ships with multiple bays in addition to working out of a CHA. I could not even see the screen. You guys have to fix this mess.

3. screen covers up with windows when you do seperate them all to the point you can not see what going on around you.

4. confusion as to which hanger you are trying to work out of. (can we at least be able to name hangers.)

5. interfacing in space with more than one container or again covers the screen to the point you can not see what happening around you.

6. The old method made a LOT more sense. need to restore old items menu settings. or give the players the option of doing so.

7. By the way, did I mention that when multitasking, the widows gets so full of open windows that you CAN'T see ANYTHING.....

My reccomendation is to allow peeps to turn off the bug, errr "feature" just like we were able to do with the next to useless station environments.

Overall, I really like the new inventory and missile effects. The v3 Amarr ship skins are great, although the corp decals do not match the ship manufacturers most of the times.

I'm seeing one major issue with the new war declaration screen. The war declaration screen should show the time the war is declared and retracted, as well as the date. This way players can tell exactly when the war begins and ends, without having to look at Concord notification mails. Just giving the date isn't very helpful, because a war can begin/end at 00:01 or at 23:59 of the same day.

I just want to comment on a few of things.

New Inventory System - The old system was great and easy to use. This new system takes way too much effort. I can't hardly stand it. I get irritated every time I have to use it. Get rid of it or give us a choice.

War Dec Mechanics - So far I love it. Needs some improvements. For instance, when advertising you want help, we need to be able to write something and even name a price. The respondents should then be able to accept or counter offer.

Chat - Logged off characters are not leaving the chat channels. They linger for hours.

Don't you get it, the whole expansion is worthless. The Only thing that's not absolute Crap are the new missiles & graphics. But, even the awesome missiles aren't enough to save this expansion. It's rather amazing to know that so many people warned or agrued against what was being develop, so many great suggestions and tips of how to fix or make things better yet still all were ignored. I'm amazed as to how CCP thought that going against the grain of its clients could possibly produce a positive result. It's pure insanity... Kinda like banging your head against a concrete wall.

Missle graphics weren't really needed
New skins make some of the ships look weird but change is good if it helps game play

No real opinion on the war dec system or the changes to datacores
New mods are always interesting because it allows for new tactics and ship fits if they can be applied to pvp

The unified inventory system was a waste of time and money on someones part and i can't see how it was intended to improve the game in any way other than to complicate a functioning system to confuse 40000+ people and reduce play time as we search for ships, items, mods, ammo, fuel... ect in various cans, hangers, pos mods, ect.. and then have to search more to find your cargo hold amongst the 20 other windows you just opened to find the stuff. Score on a 1-10 scale -8.5

Now are all the crashes and glitched locals intended features as well or was that just a little bonus to give people another excuse to look into other games to play

Like a lot of people i like to log into a game to be able to play it, not have to dl a patch then spend a few days reading about how it works and what was intended then come to the conclusion that it was broken or intended for a particular type of player that will spend all of 30 minuits actually playing the game after reading about it for 2 hours.

Time to buy a book

BTW thanks for all the work getting rid of botters and macro's (those efforts actually improve gameplay)

Don't break what ain't broken? Im not a really a fan of the don't fix what ain't broken mentality but its probably a good
idea to make sure that what you are replacing has the same kind of functionality as that before to begin with.

I havn't had enough time to get used the new ui yet, and since I don't pos manage or mission run 24/7
it hasn't really impacted me yet. I don't like how slow it is though. Its definitely slow to load up.

On the plus some nice new interface with factional warfare though people still aren't going to visit low sec for
reduced prices [bar low sec pirates and fractional warfare folk etc] when they can do so for less risk in high sec.
Im going to have a go at factional warfare though I still don't think it has any major consequences such as attacking
New Caldari in a more wholesome mannner [though nice to see space perverts can't dock in Ladistier anymore].

My enyo is now 100% cooler with a visable missile turret and the new stealth bombers are good. As for war decs, I
do actually have the isk for a war dec or two. Whether theres any point to bother anymore in an attempt to find some
high sec rp pvp with a kind of meaningful long term goal via war decs is another matter. Suicide ganking might
serve me better and other methods might serve me better.

I can't comment on the usefulness of the new modules. Guess I better wait for the EFTers to come up with something.

Hey...wasn't there something mentioned about releasing Empire-specific skill requirements to operate Battlecruisers and Destroyers? And along with that, wasn't there a plan to have CCP award all Empire-based Battlecruiser and Destroyer skills to pilots based on their current level of Battlecruiser and Destroyers skills?

I spent several weeks maximizing my Battlecruiser and Destroyer skills hoping that CCP would deliver...to no avail.

Whatever happened to this plan?

Recommendations:

-enable ships wobbling in hangar view (pre-Captains Quarters)

-add more missions (NPC fleet vs. NPC fleets that actually shoot)

-STOP NERFING EVERYTHING!

CCP, don't come up with ideas on your own. Go through the CSM. Don't fix what is not broken. Nobody wanted this UI. I hate it. Take it off.

So, I decided to come back to eve after a few months away and what do I get .. the most craptastic inventory system shoved down my throat. Worst UI change ever! Don't even feel like logging in now. So much for sisi being a test bed. If CCP isn't going to listen to the players who test their builds then whats the point.

another fantastic CCP FAIL

..I do love the new missiles though!

In space could we double click something like we used to to open it and have it spawn its own window as if we shift clicked it from the tree, without going into the tree, finding it, and shift clicking it?

Then people can use the tree, or just spawn individual windows without pulling them out of the tree first to do the same task?

When exploring, if something is wrong with the can I am trying to open (guarded, not unlocked, to far away) I'm spawning my own cargo window. I don't want to look at my cargo. It isn't useful for what I am doing. I'd prefer no window to spawn then default to my cargo.

Yes, I saw that there are x's or something by wrecks and things. The problem is that I live in low sec. People are trying to kill me (I'm fine with this). However, I need to swoop in, grab my stuff as fast as possible, shove it in my cargo hold and make sure I'm ready to go. Because of distance limits on cans, I can't align out while I attempt to figure out which was checked through the inventory trees. I'll leave the can behind and have to go back and check another can because things spawned or didn't spawn, or spawned my cargo instead.

I don't want to sit out on the field and dig about my inventory to check that I've cleaned everything up that I wanted while the combat probes are pulled back in and I know they have a warp in.

Yea, unified inventory is a total pain in the ass. I run 6 accounts, and it is making my operations so slow! Have to Shift-click a bunch of things everytime I dock/undock, and open corporate hangar on my orca, shift-click it, then move the initial window back to cargo hold.

The unified inventory needs to die in a fire. If you can offer proof that the people who made the unified inventory have been beaten with lead pipes, I will pay 200$.

That being said, roll back to the old system. The one that actually worked.

I'm not sure if this should go here, but I was resculpting my character last night and I wasn't finished when I was told to log off for DT (at 9 I think it was) . I saw the 5 minute warning come up and I tried to get it done in time but her face just is not what I was aiming for.

Is there any way I can get back in to make her look a bit more realistic?

The unified inventory is probably the worst change / update / enhancement / whatever that I have ever seen added to the game during the time I've been playing it. It's absolutely horrible, posting to confirm that you should get rid of it Sad

For the most part, I like the new inventory system ... except for the following gripes. Please take them constructively.

1.
The new inventory system is novel, but would benefit from a more-easily-accessible way of having more than one container's inventory visible at the same time. Shift-click does work, but is not intuitive.

2.
For inventories which are both empty and expandable in the left side of the inventory menu (e.g. a dock which contains nothing except the currently active ship), include the expansion arrow which appears to the left of the line item describing it. This will clear up some minor visual confusion. Add a "there's nothing here" line item if such empty areas should be expanded.

3.
When the actively visible inventory on the right side is the currently active ship, have the visible inventory switch to another ship when another ship is made the active ship.

Remove T2 BPO's or make them inventable at extreme cost.
