Can anyone recommend any training plans that will allow me to get into a hulk as fast as possible while retaining the memory/ intellect attributes in order to learn the other industry skills?

Well, my Hulk-only alt started with max memory > intellect. That was a huge mistake I'll not make again.

My alt proved to be more than a Hulk pilot: transports, freighter, strategic cruiser, heavy interdictor. Most of the core skills are intellect > memory or intellect > perception as well.

Other than industry and drones there isn't much call for memory > intellect in my opinion.

In my opinion, a decent mapping is: 23i 21p 21m 17w 17c. All my alts use this, other than the lab rats.

I would say tough out having even attributes and save your two remaps, when you get all the requirements done for exhumers then remap perception willpower. After you have mining barge 5 / exhumers 5 + what ever hauler you want to use. Then go memory intelligence and do a flat out focus on your industry skills. Honestly I would say mining isn't worth your time unless it is WH, Null, or you like sitting for hours. In which case maybe it's perfect for you. Just so I can keep a clear conscience though, please consider and try all the options before dedicating to one route.

The worst of it will be Mining Barges 5 and then Exhumers 3 if you don't respec. Mining Barges 5 will take you something like 25 days give or take. And obviously Exhumers 3 will get you into the Hulk but you will eventually want to max it out.

I'm going through the same thing with my Orca alt at the moment. Orca training will be complete in about 17 and a half more days of Mining Barge training but I wanted to keep Int/Mem to continue training up a few core skills that I haven't maxxed out yet. Perhaps not the best way to do things but it will get done eventually.
