[FIX] Launcher Problem - Temp Solution

Firstly run the Repair tool, as it patches your Eve.

Then goto

C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin

Run ExeFile.exe

This will run eve, and bypass the new launcher, note that this means you wont get updates!

But its a temp fix =)

it runs eve, but then with the message when you try to update from the client itself

"There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /EveOnlineLauncher/launcherInstaller/EveOnlineLauncherInstaller_TQ_1320.exe from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/EveOnlineLauncher/launcherInstaller/EveOnlineLauncherInstaller_TQ_1320.exe not found"

path effed up?

EDIT: oh don't worry, that's before even running the repair tool.

Yep you have to Repair, as there was a patch, which the repair tool grabs and patches for you =)

Works, had the launcher fail both before and after running the repair tool. but after Running the repair tool exe file gets you in as 5n4Keyes says.
