I have an idea CCP, make your crappy unified inventory optional. It is beyond horrid!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for making my corp hangers in that crappy interface, now I have to do more work to find items. Make this optional like you did with that crappy ass captains quarters like most of us aren't using. I would think you would of learned your lesson from that debacle. apparently not. Only positive thing I can say is I like the missilie effects. You guys need to pull your heads out of your collective you know what and start listening to your damn players. How many of them told you that inventory crap you slapped together sucks nuts???????? MOST OF THEM!!!!!!!!!

Everything is fantastic, except the UI.

Whilst in station its not too bad, admittedly I would like member hangers to be organised Alphabetically, simple fix, but other than that UI works okish, things take longer, but thats normal.

Now, I decided to go out to a POS, minerals are stored in a corp hanger, and they need to go into an assembly array, problem, the POS has multiple arrays, guns, silos, etc. which makes one fecking huge list. So insted of having 2 reasonably small boxes, I now need to full screen the menu in order to do what I was doing before, note that now I cant have my browser open with a google doc, which I need for working out what to build, etc.

UI really isnt an improvement, its now more annoying, and slow to do things.

FFS why CCP you need to break everything that was working fine ??? You really hate your players so much or something ?

New hangar and inventory IS TERIBBLE. Completly non functional and useless.

PLEASE GIVE US OLD HANGAR WINDOW.

To be honest, Its pretty fine, Although I think that it needs a better filter.
The only other thing I would like for this is that split windows so transferring items would be a bit easier.

This has probably been mentioned, but is there a way to make it so that the inventory window auto-opens when you dock, if it was open when you undocked?

There are certain things they've said they're working on fixes for, this is one of them, window retention, the corp member hangar list, what you're reading here is basically 5 posters bitching up a storm that they've had to adapt to something new.

Yet not a one of them opened their mouth when we were force fed Dominion sov rules and changes, nobody complained when Titan changes or supercarrier changes went through, nobody stood up for the nano ships when they got nuked from orbit.

This change like all others, people will learn to live with, or wont, and the game will ramble on.
Eh? This inventory system has flaws / bugs, but let's talk about your assumption that people didn't speak up about the Dominion Sovereignty mechanisms or super cap modifications... There's only so many times a space pilot can ask for follow-up and follow-through from their MMO vendor [on Dominion loose ends] before it is time to throw the hands up in the air [like you just don't care.]

It has been, what, 2.5 years with little-to-no work done on the Sov and Null-sec stuff with only CCP Greyscale's occasional tweak to exploration and sanctums?

And now we see FW gets some pretty tasty Sovereignty upgrades (50% off the cost of medical clones!?!?!) with Null-sec continuing to stagnate as far as game assets go.

For example, whatever happened to the proposed treaty functionality that was put onto the table just prior to Dominion's release? That sounded like one of the most amazing things to hit Null-sec standings -- ever.

Shift click the other window you want open, it'll pop right off for you.

Now you can see two windows at once.

I'll say very simply this. It does not feel so much like I am playing a game anymore, as much as it feels like I am using a computer.

More and more it feels like work, and less like leisure.

Sure, It's usable, just takes some getting used to. It's still more clicks, and less situational awareness of my inventory in any particular place, and more time getting at it.It's just annoying.

I play to be diverted from annoyances, not to be annoyed.

You will have to address that one to CCP Hubris, who seems to be running game design these days.....

Come on no one f*cking "liked" the old system, we tolerated it because there were no options...

The new system is broken due to bugs and unfinished polish left and right that have been pointed out that CCP promises to look at and resolve...

But saying we liked the old system is histerical, i suppose you "loved windows 3.1" as well right?

The "All wars" tab on the wars panel doesn't actually show all wars. It shows the 50 most recently declared wars.

Can you name things based on what they actually do?

Anyone else having issues with chat windows? My main toon is connected to several corp/alliance chat windows all showing similar problems:
- people who have logged off hours ago still shown in some but not all chat windows
- oeople who log on shown as active in some but not all chat windows
What?

@ Those who Do not like Unified Inventory.

ON THE TOP LEFT, there are a set of LEFT POINTING CHEVRONS. Click on this, Unified Inventory Index goes away, and you never have to use it again.

GREAT solution! I pressed it! Now I have my ship cargo bay where I want it, small, to the side. But I can't find my Corp Hangar now. Guess I never have to use it again. So of course you have to use it.

- Bookmarks are STILL not sorted. Closing in on the third major updated for a 1 hour fix that can save lives.

- And yes, the new "inventory" system. Choosing between a small tiny window perfect for a ships cargo and then have the Corp hangar stuff in the same tiny window, or having the few items you have in cargo open up to the size you want the Corp hangar window to be. Not a good solution. This was not an issue at all before, no "fix" or improvement was needed. It could only get worse, and it did.

Otherwise, all good.

The old Items and Ships functions + window settings had more functionality! It was more intuitive and easy to use, not to mention FASTER loading. If windows 3.1 would be faster and more useful than windows 7, I'd stick with it! I don't like shiny new crap only cos it's shiny and new.

As I have mentioned in other posts why can we not add our own short ID/Name to any POS stucture up to a max of say, five/six chars, we dont need you to remove your ingame names etc: especially as you offer the option but it dosn't work , not that that is any real surprise here, still we now have INVENTORY! now if you use it and look at your Multiple corp hanger arrays WOW surprise! they all appear the same with no way to differentiate them, DO YOU GUYS really ever play EVE AT NORMAL PLAYER LEVEL TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON? result more click fest to see which one is which and what is in it, from that point of view your standard name is now pointless. Might suggest you change your bedfellows and see what an normal average player wants / needs in EVE.
