I like the UI change for the most part, although it behaves a bit different. For instance, when I unload a cargo with packaged ships and random stuff it just refuses to work instead of sorting them. If I unload the ships, then the stuff will unload.

All in all, I'd rather see 2 different UI, the old one by default. A check box for a new UI with much faster changes so we can get it out there and use it. The old UI is a bummer, and I know CCP doesn't want to rock the boat too much, but they need to take the leap imo. Otherwise, 50000 forum posts and 12 months of UI tweaks will follow. Just played SWTOR which had a hated UI, they patched in changes with dropboxes to pick what you like preset or customize. Something like that would be much better.

So what I'd rather see, old UI default. Checkbox for experimental UI, reload game, bam all the changes your thinking will be cool. Separate forum for UI suggestions, bug reports.

war decs: trollololol

KMs: we'll see how badly it porks the KB, but I like the idea

FW: not a FW player, but it sounds a little gimpy from what I'm hearing

Hello. First forum post ever btw.

Regarding feedback:
Mission Accomplished, with that new unified inventory.

Well, in case your mission was to make me play less Eve.

PLEASE! Make this user-unfriendly thing optional so we can change it back to how it was - trust me it was fine.

Sad, as I read a lot of people already told you on Sisi.

New inventory window doesn't keep window in same position when you undock and dock.
If you leave inventory and ships window opened before the patch when you undock, after you dock, it was still opened and you saw all your ships and could change ship fast.
After new patch if you leave inventory window opened - after you undok and dock, it will be closed and first you need to find where is it, open it, wait till it load all items or ships and only after this you can start search and change ship.

Absolutely unusefull and we lost a lot of time on simple things, especially if you play in few accounts in same time so on every nex account you can add + 10 seconds, so for example in account number 4 I can change the ship only after 40 seconds. Are you kidding?!

Return back ability for windows, so they will keep own status after undock and dock too.
And add in inventory window SIMPLE TABS for different category items so we can separate them like in corp hangar, and NOT in ******* containers!

I honestly don't know why people hate the new inventory so much. I quite like it. Simplifies things down to one window. Sure... it will take some time to relearn it, but for the love of God, spend some time learning how to use it. Don't spend five bloody minutes, conclude you hate it, and then ***** at CCP for screwing it up.

Just try this: Go 24 to 48 hours with the new inventory. If you still hate it then, then come on the forums and yell at CCP to do something about it.

As i said, this new Inventory Feature is nice for beginners like you, but for older players that PVP and/or are involved in industry, manufacturing and other aspects of the game it's totally annoying and unfunctional.

Man, the new unified inventory sure does show you all the people with an IQ below 100 (you're unable to visualize things in your head and its throwing you off).

Good change.

Theres nothing wrong with it, in doesn't do anything to hurt PVP at all, stop making things up and learn to use it.

Well, I've 'taken some time' to try and learn the inventory system. I don't care for having to reopen the items and ships windows seperately every time I go into a station rather than having them automatically opened in my stacked windows I keep pulled to the bottom of the screen. I don't like having to selectively open corporate hangar windows every time I need to use them. I'm not partial to having to seperately open my ship cargohold so I can selectively loot from killed rats in the 'common window'. Not partial to seeing the inventory window pop up in the middle of the screen every time I jump through a gate. Don't really care for not being able to drag from my items locker into a 'corp' window tab - now I have to have them both open at the same time to do so.

Oh, and my game time I pay for is used to play the game - not go on some test server that some seem to feel I should. I play a game for leisure and I pay for that time - I don't pay for time so I can test. CCP figured they had a good way to relieve server load - well, it relieves server load but it's making my game time a pain in the butt.

I vote for making the inventory system optional - but I don't see that working out so well.

To be fair, I thought the old system was a little cluttered and took quite a few steps to do anything. I'll look at the new system and see what I think.

Newbie here btw.

Thats fair enough, I would never call the old system perfect with all its right click idiosyncrasies and hanger hijinx but the solution to such issues imo is not to throw out the established system and replace it with another one which requires more clicks. I know ill get shot for this but if my memory serves me well WOW, LOTR and other mmos while different from eve follow a new window per object approach that was similar to the old system so it might be considered an accepted wisdom way of doing things and therefore intuitive to a majority of newbies who have played another mmo or rpg. Now there is nothing wrong with innervation but it really should be aimed at areas that are actually in need of a complete overhaul(such as POS management atm).

I love to watch the little segmented loading circle spinning for 5 mins while trying to access ship hanger in a pos. This has really improved my game play. TY CCP.

Everything requiring the use of cargo/hangers/ship arrays/Looting functions is now a lot more complicated and the default window size needs to be made much bigger. Just what i needed, as all the differently font scaled windows i already have plastered all over my Ui was definitly not enough.

Seriously Hope you guys sort out the UI soon. it is one the major downsides of this game.

If per chance your team cannot even begin to sort this out (which is looking very much the case at the moment) can i suggest allowing player designed UI "add-ons" . UI's will be improved a tremendous amount in no time if the add-ons for other games are anything to judge by.

Until then. put the hangers etc back to the way they were. living out of a pos was annoying enough without having to faf about with this over complicated rubbish.

I damn well guarentee i have a higher IQ than you boy and if you want to prove it lets go some.

The new inventory system is a pile of crap and makes the *insta ship change* pointless as it takes 30 seconds to even load up if u have alot of assets, not all of us are stupid enuff to have assets all over eve,

I almost never post on a forum, mostly because all have been said already. However, I ought to say that this new inventory window is a pure fall into madness. Pure cr4p. Have you ever try to manage a reaction POS with that stupid thing ?? Each window pop in the exact place you don't expect them to. I tried to shift+click all the silo windows, stacked them up. And when you warp out of the POS, all the stacked window (instead of disapear like old times) are being switched to your actual ship cargo !! Raaaahhhh !! RAAAAGGGGGE !

Ps: No, you won't get my stuff.

ok dont bother trying to invent on the new drone damage modifier blueprint. even though it shows a invention tab for required skills and mats needed it will not start the invention. just wasted an hour setting up everything to get this error msg..

"Drone Damage Amplifier I Blueprint" can not be invented, there is no chance of it succeeding.

fail again. Come one ccp get with it. Plz.

Since CCP Phantom started locking all feedback threads about the Inventory, i have to post here.

WE REPORTED THESE ISSUES WEEKS AGO.

CCP again is falling back to their old habits, ignoring the player base, forcing things upon us.

Not to mention that the new Amarrian Shaders are still bugged (Carthum Ships for example still show the wrong logos) and they basicly mean the End to the once glorious golden fleet.

I am sorry to see that CCP didnt change their attitude towards their playerbase. I can just hope that the rest of the community doesnt let them get through with it.

I'm having issues with the new inventory, I get blackscreens that last for 30s to 3min when I try to open corp hangars or move ships/items from a corp hangar to my hangar (only in stations). Fitting and changing ships in station now takes significantly longer then yesterday and makes fitting even a single ship a chore. I play on a low end machine but the performance I'm getting in station is worse then what I get in large fleet fights.

WIN!

Can we please have a "Move to hanger and reprocess" in the module right click menu?

Thanks.

This function was able for use 2 years ago, but some CCP idiot removed it.
Can you imagine how hard to play eve if you have 990 items in station (limit is 1000) and for refine you need to drop from station container only 10 items and refine them, so now try to imagine - you have 200k M3 for refine...so how many different items is it and how long you need to do it by 10 items....especially if you have only one station in system....

CCP - return ability to refine from station containers like it was 2 years ago!!!
