Well I got to laugh at this hulkagadden and Burn Jita. And how it hits right before the major Update. :) Which is before a huge price inflation happens anyways because people start returning.

Now I got to give the goon leaders credit where it is earned. They have found a way to make the masses join there cause. But now you got to think how long they have been organizing these hulkagaddens. They got it down pretty well. What does hulkageddon do. Well it is a pretty genius process to inflate pricing around eve. What do goons do. Well stalk pile certain items around these hulkagaddens that they know they can sell. so thye probably start out with 30b in iteams stored. Prices caught before inflations start. End when cleaned out they will have 200b+ from these iteams. While the people who join there cause after these rewards that really are a fraction of what they actually gain.

Got to say smart play by the goons and other people who have organize the hulkagadden. You know That I will have 5b+ isk worth in iteams hidden aside for Hulkaggadden 6. :)

Well Played Sirs.

I unfortunately smoked my stash of iteams.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

Why is it worth returning for this patch?

FW? LOL

Missile graphics going to compete with 10 other better games?

Why return this summer?

Ganking people in High Sec is the only fun thing about this game, why? Your tears, that's it. More and more people are learning that they can troll people just as effectively in other games with 100% free accounts. Games which are new and actually fun to play. Politics used to make this game somewhat interesting but that was years ago. Have fun wasting precious years training up for a SC you'll never fly in combat or max out a BS to be part of some nameless blob and click space for hours jumping through hoops erm.. gates.

"Oh but you forgot the genius market system in EVE!" Oh you mean the bot infested .1 isk grind fest to squeeze out pennies of profit in ISK, a currency of a dying game?

I love how OP thinks that other members of the CFC didn't have exploiting this situation suggested to us months in advance of Burn Jita.

Goons have never organized Hulkageddon. This year we put some money in it for prizes, but it's always been Helicity's baby.

Well done OP. You have taken publicly known knowledge and are attempting to paint it like a scam. Anybody with a dot of common sense who is informed about the cycles that occur in Eve would have put money aside to invest in up coming events.

Hulk prices started to lift 8 weeks before Hulkageddon started due to patch speculation. The limitation on supply due to the establishment of the Tech Cartel caused further rises. The dent in trade and market supply caused by Burn Jita lifted prices further. Hulkageddon is like a nice big cherry on top of already extended profit margins.

Or maybe they are trying to create fun events for their corpmates?

Big alliances don't need money anyway. What they need is active and dedicated members.

Not saying people do not know. :) Or have the exploiting of the situation suggested to them but 1 out of every 100 active hulkagadden participant actually know or have been told. Most do not know about exploiting the inflation.

And?

Thats not an issue of lack of info, just a lack of imagination(or in my case, :effort:) Everyone was informed months ago this was coming, whether or not they paid attention.

You said the word scam not me. And this is not painting a scam.

This is talking about how a few big alliances are using tactics to further increase market prices to maximize there profits. Alot of people just follow into these events thinking they are fun.

No publicly known. It depends how you define publicly know. Is if that fact that people can look at each years inflation charts from the market and see that each time a patch comes out a little inflation goes on yes then that is publicly known. But most people will go oh a patch came out more people play equals higher demand. Most people newer to eve have no idea the bigger causes in the picture.

3/10 people that play eve probably understand how bigger alliances are actually taking these events and making a profits out of them.

Goon probably making the biggest profit. Sorry if this is not your event but I have only been playing for 2 months now. Helicity might have started it but Goon is exploiting it to there advantage. Bigger alliances always need iskies to throw at stuff. Of coarse they share the knowledge with fellow corp mates or alliance mates because well corp mates profits help the corp always.

Is this crying thread well if someone thinks it is well. Okay I will cry for them on second thought that person needs learn how to read.

I was just reallying saying well done on the goons part for a perfect exploit to maximize iskies for themselves.

Anyone with a brain could profit off these events. Especially Hulkaggeddon since its expected almost every year. Goons just added a nice twist with burn jita.

I think it boils down to this: derp

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

Simile: like a scam
Any person who has access to the Internet has access to the information I put forward about price speculations.

The people who make the biggest profits are the people who put the most into it. I will tell you now that goons are middling players.

There are individual players who made more of the patch mineral speculation that goons combined.

Tactics are part of the game.

I am not sure why you started this thread.
