My Display after closing the client

Hello every body,

I'm running a PC with a core i7 processor with a Radeon graphics, my resolution off-client is 1600 x 900. The client runs fine, no problems whatsoever with the in-game graphics. However, when I close the client, 90% of the time my display goes pink, like my colors invert themselves, and I have to reset my monitor by shutting it and reopening and then logging back in. I skimmed the forums and troubleshoot sites. Any Ideas would be helpful.

thank,

Try playing in window mode, does it do the same?

I am a similar setup, I7 2x6870's xfire.

If I alt tab, screen goes pink, then desktop AMD driver stopped responding and successfully restarted.

This has happened since last octobers ATI err AMD's driver and been an issue since.

Even trying it out on another harddrive, reinstall windows and eve, same thing.

I am confident this is a AMD issue, not an EVE issue. If I go back to drivers a year ago, no issues. But I play a lot of different games, so I stay updated.

Dont like window mode, cause I use a 52' samsung led TV (1920x1080) and text is difficult enough to read in this game at full screen.

I have made requests with AMD about this, I have zero issues in other games, ran the eve repair utility, same result.

There is an alternative called "Fixed window" where you are in windowed mode, but the client removes the window frame and maximize the client to the screen dimensions.... so in reality it is running in in windowed, but it looks just like running in full screen.

I prefer that as it lets me alt-tab without minimizing the client (very nice when running multiple accounts on multiple monitors)

I was having graphics issues upon logging out of the client aswell. I found that minimizing then closing the client via right-click instead of logging out caused no such issues.

This occasionally happens on my notebook when I use Windows 7 GPU drivers on the Windows 8 consumer preview, forced.
Try updating your GPU drivers.
