Some issues with the incarna version on SISI.

IDK If this has been said already as I haven't got the time or patience to read through every thread.

1) My character has lost about 1/4 of his body-mass, which isn't fixable in the character customisation - please fix this before releasing.

2) My character floats about 2 inches from the ground, a minor issue that detracts from the realism, hopefully will be fixed.

Will add more if I see them!

I patched my SISI client yesterday. It went fine. But after I tried to load it, it loads fine but I couldnt get past window where I have to accept EULA. I coudlnt scroll.

If they couldnt implement patch right on SISI, I wonder what would happen on tranqility.

Got same problem.. window is empty and i cant scroll or get pass this screen. Fix it pls.

Don't break that arm patting yourself on the back CCP. Shocked

Adding entirely new, from scratch, graphics/content/anti-lag measures/etc take a bit more time than adding a few exsisting textures/graphics with different names and colors than the old ones.

CCP likes telling thier subscribers about things they are working on as they are working on it, or even before they start, and generally take player input into consideration (dont kid yourself, they listen often.)

Some people think CCP should only listen to them, just because a couple of others agree with them (100 others agreeing with you is still jsut a small ammount of subscribers). You, the oens who agree, and the ones who oppose are all lsitened to and compromises are attempted, and it is my opinion alone that CCP do a pretty good job of this (they rolled out the next step in Incarna, while appeasing those who dotn want it by returning spinning ships)

If a company waits until jsut before they release soemthing before they tell their subscribers about it, it gives the illusion of a speedy rollout. BUT that method leaves NO room for player input.

P.S. I quote peopel to let you knwo what im responding to, not to try and aggrivate/argue/etc

In addition, remember that CCP doesn't charge for expansions / upgrades to EVE. The other companies do. I like CCP's way of doing things.

Pleased to see CCP is delivering on this particular promise. Still a ways to go but not dropping features is a step in the right direction ;)

Now it's time to go check this out on Sisi. I know a lot of people hate the CQ, but I enjoy chilling out on the couch from time to time.

Actually I would like an answer to this.
Same. I'd rather not burn 100W+ of additional juice just to dock up. The door or ship spinning will be my station environment of choice for the foreseeable future. Thx.

Theres a thread about it on test server forum, with player-proposed fixes.

I had the problem too, and managed to get it fixed. On a related note, I dont know if its because I used my old test server folder instead of fresh copy of the live client, but my character doesnt look like it should in CQ. I was particularly paying attention to the size of my nose.. Its as if the facial proportions were changed or reset to some different standard, and the body seems smaller in comparison to the head too. This must be fixed before going live with it.

An additional comment now that I've had a chance to see all the CQ's "in person" on Sisi. They are all great. My one complaint is that the info screens in the Caldari CQ are too transparent. You can see the items on the wall behind them and that is very distracting and make the screens hard to read.

Though I do like what looks like a door with a window that might move down to enclose the bed. Too bad it doesn't really work and we also can't lay down. :-)

But I look forward to seeing these in game.

I think I'd pay to NOT have to take part in some of the non-optional bullcrap CCP has been pinching out on us.

I truly hope it is the latter as to otherwise this represents a rather glaring slap in the face to the Prime Fiction of the game. After all no Amarr station owner would in his right mind construct station quarters to suit the tastes of the slaves they own nor would the Caldari / Gallente be designing their quarters to accommodate the desires of their racial enemies.

CQs are based on the station race, just like the hangars. I think we agree that It would be quite silly for them to follow your race.

3 more shiny environments to do nothing in that should have been ready and released upon WIS implementation aside....

....any news on when we'll be able to do any of the meaningful things in stations mentioned aeons ago when the world was younger? (other than get access to functionality we already have access to)

From the other blog I would think they're bringing back ship spinning hangar view at the same time. Happiness for all \o/

There is supposed to be a blog on that subject being released next week.

They have cleverly hidden this information by posting it repeatedly in this thread.

The promotional splash when you launch the game is labeled incorrectly. The Gallente CQ is labeled Caldari and the Caldari labeled Gallente. I guess this would be a good place to post this since when you click on it, this blog page opens.

Interesting, I could've sworn this is how we were told it would be when they were announced. That like, your quarters were transported for you aboard your ship and then installed at the station you were at for the duration of your stay or something crazy like that.

I like this better.
