It no longer seems to work for me.

You can't copy bookmarks, only move them.

If moving them was what you meant, i've not experienced any problems, so i'm afraid i can't help ya

You could copy them by shift-dragging them into a can a week ago. Now it appears not to work.

Just did this with no problem.

In space. Opened cargo hold. Opened Bookmarks. Held down shift key. Dragged 'bookmark' into cargo hold. Jettisoned one x-ray crystal to create a jetcan. Dragged bookmark into jetcan.

No problem. Then.. warped to anchored can. Repeated the above minus creation of a jetcan. Still no problem.

I'm going to guess your bugged and may need to run the repair option in the launcher.

*edit* You are bugged. I just copied straight into the can via shift+drag.

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

Thanks for that, much appreciated. How about a small standard container - does that work?

Give me a sec and I'll dbl check, need to gab one and anchor it to see. But i'll update here once I have.

*edit* Forgot they are not anchorable lol... but yeah, I was able to shift/drag from bookmarks w/o a problem.

Got it. Its a bug.

In station you cannot copy directly from People & Places to a can. You must move the bookmarks to the cargohold of the ship you are in first and then copy them.

Excuse me while I batter my head off the table for a while.

Wonderful bug, can't think of anything more annoying than having to copy bookmarks in fives apart from having to copy the sodding things twice Roll

*Sigh* and it used to be possible to actually EVE-mail bookmarks, long time ago. Instead, here we are messing around with cans and cargobays.

Mind you I am copying FROM bookmarks, not from a bookmark that has already been shift/dragged to cargo. If you used to be able to copy a copy of a BM that was in your cargo already.. that I don't know.

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

Confirmed. That's bugged too.

1) To replicate use a small standard container while docked.

2) Shift-drag any single bookmark from People & Places to the can. It will not copy.

3) Now shift-drag the same bookmark to the cargohold of your current ship. It will copy.

4) Now shift-drag it from cargohold to can. It will move, not copy.

Hmm derp, copying from cargo to can probably never has been possible.

So copying from People & Places to cargo with shift+drag does work as expected.

Confirmed this myself. Not able to copy to them while docked.

Never did BM's that way myself, always copied them to my cargo bay using shift/drag and then dropped them into whatever I wanted them in so never noticed this. I'm going to take it this is a new 'bug' or in CCP speak "working as intended [god guys we screwed up again.. wheres the code for that?]" then?

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

It was possible to copy bookmarks from cargo. Now you can only move them.

I confirm you can copy direct to a jetcan from People & Places. You cannot copy direct to a standard can in space.

Looks like the patch to fix secure cans broke something else.

The way you did it is feasible for a few bookmarks.

When you have a new alt that you wish to share personal bookmarks with then its not. Copying several thousand bookmarks in that way is going to test your sanity Blink

I copied directly from people and places to a standard can in space just a few ago.

*edit* granted it was only one BM though. I have all my BM's in individual folders according to system so yeah that might would get hairy real fast.

I won't say you are stupid, but you're not exactly on the Zombie menu either.

Oh well they got enough info now anyway. It will have been the secure can patch that buggered this up as I've been told this worked OK before that.
