Jettisoning corpses inside POS bubbles

I notice they actually appear as corpses, as oppose to cargo cans.

My question is this...

Will they despawn or are they protected inside the POS bubble like cargo cans?

Intentionally trying to crash the server by spam jetsoning items is against the rules right?

I perceive the OP's intentions as both disturbing and hilarious.

There's a million angry citizens looking down their tubes..at me.

Ah someone's done this already?

This was the idea... not to slow the server down but to have a load of corpses floating at the POS for show.

We're only a little corp, it's not like I've got a million corpses I want to display.

I thoroughly endorse this product.

OH, addendum... when I say "bubble" I actually mean the POS force field, not a warp bubble outside the POS.

Sorry, misjargoned.

Petitioned for breach of EULA for intentionally planning to crash Eve by jetsoning lots of items on grid in a node thus putting us back to pre-Incarna days of Lag 1.0.

The original eve graveyard was a hi sec pos surrounded by anchored secure cargo containers each containing one corpse.

I believe that since goons felt this drew attention from themselves, they opted to remove the graveyard.

As for the op's suggestion, I am not sure about despawning. Why not try with one corpse and see what happens? 1 item is not petitionable as lag when 100 drones are not.

Yeah this is what I've done, left one floating there to see if it stays.

CCP should let us anchor corpses.

Jetsoning is completely ok in game

Also, false flags are a good way to get one a forum banned.

The graveyard is in high sec, its 1 or 2 jumps from Nakregde from what i can remember, cant remember the actual name of the system tho. and spamming containers is only agains the rules if its for the purpose of gate camping or something that interfers with the normal run of the the clients

It's a valid tactic for gate camping, its only an exploit if done deliberately to generate lag. Although obviously there is a fine line between enough drones to reliably decloak people and enough drones to slow down some peoples setups a little.

Jetcanning dozens of cans to decloak someone is not a valid tactic because it has the effect of causing client lag and it is not allowed. I know because iv petitioned it before and iv been warned about it also as someone petitioned me and the fleet i was a part of at the time.

Yeah. Love the title. Don't care about what the post says.

Cans are fine in null, we drop them in bubbles all the time. Why the hell you'd use cans around a gate is beyond me though, you'd be there years just dropping them all.

Use drones around gates. If you bother to search there are CCP dev quotes explaining that it isn't considered an exploit, id find the quote for you but im on my phone atm :)
