For someone talking that loud i would have expected a lot of kills :). Even i have more, and i dont PVP at all. Only lost 1 ship to PVP activities in the last 6 month.

I suck indeed on 8 kills and 30 losses. It is hard to kill with an indy/research/exploration char. But still i have more kills than you, hehe.

... no i dont drink alcohol at all :). The "cheers" is a relict greet from a different game, using it is somehow common for me.

So you mean suicide gank the suicide gankers? I'm pretty sure that's not going to change anything..except possibly forcing your defensive pilots out of high sec to grind rep. Ultimately the only way to beat the suicide gankers is survive the gank.. and you can't do that forever no matter how well you tank and use fleet boosters. You're better off doing something else for the event besides mining and leaving the masses of gankers to go after the same few miners that don't care enough to read the forum.

Mine in a rokh or dominix during hulkageddon. Infact, always mine in a rokh or dominix. Problem solved.

If you want the cargohold though, dont mine in a hulk, mine in a coveter... you get like 1k less yeild a min, big deal for less of a loss...

Losing your ship is a consequence. You lost your ship, the ganker lost his and all is in balance. Concord doesn't regulate moral behaviour, why should it? This is a game and part of it is loss, unexpected loss at that. Get used to it.

Edit:

OP is on the winning track. Providing consequences other than what concord dishes out is the best way to get on. There will be more gankers losing ships without kills if people are in the belts with ecm and insta locking arty canes (for example Lol) than if those who complain they have to log out or dock up actually do so.

Get out there and try something different, you might enjoy it and find a clearer understanding of EvE.

Mechanoid Kryten ran an excellent GriefferGeddon during the last Hulkageddon and I hope she does so again. You should contact her if she is going to run another one.

I used to do the Ore-A-Thons when I was in a corporation but I have no time for that now with work being what it is. I'm still going to mine, just not with the big toys, and with a friend. We even made a poster of our own, a sort of tip of the hat to Helicity's Hulkageddon V poster.

People should partake in something during Hulkageddon V, rather than ragequit or take an EVE Online holiday. Just as long as it's something.
