Ive seen two or three missions recently where you get to gank npc miners

Interesting concept.

Now if only they reduced their reliance on NPCs, and made it a bit more "player driven"

Yeah but unless you got to get around CONCORD, as soon as it said "find a player owned hulk..." theyd hit quit

It's illegal, CONCORD will give you bounty.

What about find A hulk, and it provides an NPC one 10 jumps away, but any hulk you grab will do because CONCORD is stupid like that.

do the npcs that die fastest and have the least hp generate threads on the forum about how hulks need to be buffed?

Better yet, it's a bait tank hulk. Spawn in battleship jammers etc.

But if you could get your Hulk Strip Miner Proof elsewhere..

no.... I didnt do it, My friend's cat got too close to a fireplace when my dumbass friend poked the stack and a log rolled out and got her whiskers singed off.

You do realize the mission here is a Pirate NPC mission, right? Probably given out in low or null.

I would like to point out that Mining Misappropriation has been a standard level 4 combat mission since at least Tyrannis and used to feature the only NPC abaddons in the game and all the ships spawned were labeled as some Amarrian heretic suicide squad that gave no bounties. In incarna or Incursion they were swapped to blood raiders.

Also a funny bit is that the hulk you kill has a type of "The Incredible"

That mission is just plain weird.

It would make sense if the NPC suicide squad killed the hulk and I killed the suicide squad or
It would make sense if I killed the hulk and the anti-suicide squad came and I killed them

You could even make the additional spawns different depending on whether you kill the hulk or let it live, just like in the butterfly effect video. But no we just get a confusing, boring mess of a mission, per usual sloppy CCP style
