Similar to #2270 but littler and hopefully for the UI guys and girls sake - simpler.

Please tooltip remaining hold space on mouseover of hold graph. Should work similarly for all cargo, fuel and custom hold spaces.

Although I suppose getting caught with your calculator out in a not-so-safe-spot is a feature working as intended.

When inventing from a BPC, the BPC and supporting materials have to be inside a laboratory's corporate hangar. When selecting to invent from that BPC, it would be nice if the actual laboratory could be pre-selected in the installation selection window. I have many facilities available in my particular location, it's painful to have to select the facility after I have had to warp to it, open it up and dump stuff in its hangar.

From Crompton Aberforth's thread over in Trial Citizens Q & A:

Callis Tsero wrote:
Just wanted to ask the devs to fix a problem where on creation of new characters/alts, the normal tutorial begins but not the 'first steps in eve' or whatever it is, so you don't get your core skillbook(s) eg armour repair, so when you get the repair tool and are asked to equip it, you can't, nor can you afford to buy the book. You need to go in to the F12 menu and start that tutorial. Seems like an oversight, but it's a regular occurrence on the rookie channel and I was also stumped by it a few times. Please fix this! Thanks :D

Even better would be a midi assignable footswitch control to spam D-scan.

Or world peace.

Oh yeah, while I'm here

Can we make it so you can only repackage station containers when they are empty.

Repackaging full containers must take the prize for the most dull annoying goof in the player experience.

Man, it's dull.

If this has been asked before, consider it reinforcement:

Please don't close the GSCs in my cargo hold when I dock or undock.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

"You are currently training Infomorph Psychology to level 2. If you start training this skill, it will go to the top of the training queue. If that causes any skills to fall outside the queue's timeframe, those skills will be dropped from the queue.Doing this will not cause you to lose any of the skill points you have already gained while training Infomorph Psychology to level 2.

Are you sure you want to continue?"

You want a little thing? There isn't a space between queue. and Doing. Bugs me every time I go to switch a skill.

And a hotkey option for analyzing with your probes.

Longer skill queue. I'm looking at enlisting in the military and I'm already surveying options as to how my character will continue training for 2-3 months without being accessed by Yours Truly. (I don't share accounts, so that's out of the question)

All ships have more places for turrets to appear than they do hislots (unless a ship has 8 hislots).

How about we get to choose in which of those places our turrets appear?

Allow for space to rotate instead of my ship when in space. Implement it as a button in the camera section of the game's settings.

Quality of this idea is super super awesome. Makes every graphics card shine and allows for EVE to look extremely three-dee-spacey.

Before you say "what?!" let me explain it to you:

The world needs to rotate around my ship. My ship is my ego.

In other words, allow for an alternative view, which resembles the 1st person view (egocentric view) of other games.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Map issues:

1. Sounds are not updated when in Map view. Engine sounds continue even after ship has stopped, you don't hear wormholes etc.

2. Unstable wormhole "pins" (unwarpable visual locators) in map view prevent from interacting with the bookmark under the pin.

3. Anomalies and signatures don't display their signature number on the map.

4. Planet is missing from the "pin stack" when hovering over a pile celestial icons in the map. Hovering for a second time reveals/adds the planet in the stack.

5. The alternative mini-map (the fly-out one) is in dire need of a complete overhaul. It's visually very unclear, d-scan indicator is inaccurate, objects are not interactive.

Loosely related UI things:

6. Cosmic signatures decloak ships and prevent cloaking, but they are not visible and thus impossible to avoid.

7. Module keyboard shortcuts don't work while in Planet View.

Tone down the ECCM effect, its overpowering as it is and detracts from everything else around my ship.

I find myself turning it off alot as I'm trying to take screenshots in the lulls between action. Simply because it fills the screen and blots out the detail of everything else around me...

Seems to be one of the older and minor suggestions, but it gets under my skin every time I encounter it ... also found (locked) entries suggesting this, that were several years old:

Ability to change the transparency of pinned windows. Right now the relevant slider only changes transparency of unpinned ones. And the unwanted transparency sadly more than outweights the benefits of pinning right now ... at least for me.

Make the ship manoeuvres a trade of the races and/or of the individual ships.

Currently do all ships behave the same with regards to pitch, roll/bank and yaw and how they change their course.

Pictures: Pitch-Yaw-Bank or Pitch-Roll-Yaw

To change the flight direction does one only need to rotate around two of the three axis, which allows for three different methods of how to change the direction. These three methods can be used to create a larger diversity in the appearance of the ships or the races.

It can also be used to give ships with the same model, i.e. Megathron, Vindicator and Navy Megathron, more distinction by allowing each to change their direction with a different method.

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

Don't know if this has been said, but I'd like the ship model to continue looking in the same direction when I hit crtl+spacebar. Watching it align as if there's a floor to be horizontal with rustles my jimmies.
