I cant believe I have not noticed this until now but has DT changed and in fact is now 12:00 GMT to 12:30 GMT rather than 11:00 GMT to 11:30 GMT ?

Confused What?

I am leaning toward the latter, OP seems to be full of hebbie jebbies.

Apologies, evidently I am stupid. It has nothing to do with the fact tht some people just may not pay that much attention nor memorise such an event as the clocks going forward to be able to relate to it when such a simple question pops up in their mind, thanks for taking the time to reply though, much appreciated!

And to get you totally up to speed - GMT is no more (for TQ). it is now measured using UTC

Enjoy

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

I'll still call it GMT.

Does say GMT on the login screen also with the DT Notice, maybe would make more sense and cause less confusion if it read UTC but I'm guessing this changes depending on the time zone of the client ?

Having it read UTC won't cure your mistake as you will simply equate UTC with GMT as many already do. If it helps my first day off work after the switch to BST saw me log in just before 1200BST and get momentarily confused as downtime was about to kick in.

What i'm waiting for is the rage when people log in at 1600BST and can't do the plex for gfx card thing Smile

It's still 11:00 GMT since GMT = UTC and neither has summertime.

(Unless you consider subsecond precision.)
