Refining drone alloys...

I apologize in advance if this has been answered numerous times and my eye sight failed me... I want to verify that while CCP is changing what drones will drop when destroyed, the alloys that will still be within the game after the change will still be able to be refined into minerals, correct?

I have a ~small~ stash that I hope will not turn into scrap after the drone change with no immediate need to melt them down right this moment.

Thanks in advance.

Best thing to do is play it safe and refine them now. If you dont let us know what happins to them after the patch.

Though it has not been stated one way or the other, it is very unlikely that CCP would suddenly render alloys un-refinable.

It would be quite funny if it became corroded drone alloys.

Alloys are being removed from the game after the 24th. Its a safe bet to assume any alloys that people have can be held on to to be refined at some point or be a "collectors" item.

I wana see how they RP it. Drones became aware we were harvesting their bodies so we could build more ships against them so they added a drone version of a corrosion cyanide pill within their hull that would destroy the alloys of the skin when AI functions ceased.

Or all drones are now made out of plastic!

Find someone with perfect refining skills, stock and wait a couple of months to double your profits.

Unlikely ccp would stop allowing its refineability based on previous behaviors.

However im pertty sure that mission drones will still spill thier guts. there are plenty of 'drones' in missions that go haywire that are not exactly rogue drones yet.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

Drones alloys are the same in missions or null sec gate rats/anoms, difference being that high sec rats have less alloys.

None can reasonably think they'd take null drone alloys away and not mission ones since rats are the same, it would be pointless.
Taking away meta 0 mods it's also obvious this should have been done already. as far as I'm concerned They can leave only meta 4 items but then you have to think what this implies to newbies and low SP toons.
Meta1 mods need more PG/Cap/CPU than any other meta lvl other than T2, wasn't already smart to start a Gallente char if this happens expect a new wave of sub going away.

Plus all this has a huge impact on high sec players income that already have the lowest of all, assuming it's a casual player and not again one of those nerds playing all day long with several accounts and dozens alts.
